Gonna be surprised if we don't lose DCL to injury at some point. At that point, and assuming we haven't added a striker, Piroe becomes the 1 for me and must start

Darlow was a no one before joining LUFC. He has shown no loyalty to his Welsh team mates at the club or to DF who promoted him to LUFC number 1 last season. So his choice was to either have his £1.3 million basic salary increased, have a real chance of fighting for the number 1 shirt at the club who supported him and improved him, surrounded by mates and loved by the fans OR show no respect to the leeds fans by moving to the scum, no real chance of being number 1 BUT i guess more money.

Darlow signed for us in the championship and repeatedly watched on as Meslier f*cked up. Finally got his chance, did okay and then when the next season start found himself back as the 2nd choice.

Hardly like we supported and improved him.

So I'm guessing you'd stay at a firm because you get on well with a few people rather than taking a sizeable pay rise?

Darlow is like most people in this World in that he has to earn a living to pay for what he needs, consumes etc. Getting towards the end of a footballing career there's an offer that comes along whcih is for a substantial jump on his current wage as well as the new offer from his current employer. Most would jump at the chance. I don't blame the bloke one tiny little bit.

Yes i stayed at a firm as they paid me £1.3 million basic salary and then offered me a pay rise and a contract for 1,2,3 years AND said i did not have to work just sit on the bench watching the others work
