I just don't see how selling Perri helps our PSR because nobody is giving us what we paid! And a replacement is definitely costing more. We also need at least 2 goalkeepers if Perri goes. Makes no sense at all to sell him unless he is 100% done here!

Can' remember but it doesn't work the same way as PSR. TV money and marketing are the two main reasons for how much you can spend, gate receipts third and player sales, now, a distant fourth

There are a few experienced ‘cover’ keepers available on a free. Ortega and Nyland are available, both highly experienced then there will be loan options. Getting a 2nd choice cover keeper in will not be difficult.

I'll join you, good keeper Farke never really wanted... Wasted money if this ends up being a series of loans but we get a mill back, of the 15/16 we paid, for this season

It's amazing how the Dannybashers seem to always big up any player that Farke doesn't want. If we had Perri in net this season then for me it would dramatically increase our chances of getting relegated. Just cos he saved some penalties in shoot outs it doesn't make up for his inadequacies as a keeper that were pretty evident every time he played. A very poot signing and the big (possibly only) one that they got wrong last summer.
We should be able to snap up a journeyman keeper who will be a far safer, and steadier, keeper than Perri was. It was hardly like Karl Darlow was world class but he looked so much better than Perri (or Meslier).

Plenty of foreign goalkeepers really struggled in their first season.
I do think Perri had potential.
I also don't think our goalkeeper coaches have been much good for years as said before.
Darlow had the benefit of years and years of getting used to the league.
No hard feelings towards Perri and wouldn't surprise me at all of he went on to have a decent career.
