Yep, but you still have to buy him from someone who knows you’re desperate. So in year one you’ll pay 1.5 million in salary and 5 million in transfer fees. That’s my point.

Hopefully weve got Harrison off the wage bill as he nears a return to MLS.
Now we need to help Gellie get a deal that works for him. Hull seem to be playing games.

Will be interesting to see who else leaves in the closing days of the window. I'd like to see Aaronson move on, but keep Gruev, who is way more versatile.

Striker news is slow, but with higher level attacking midfielders that may work until January.
If we get Brandt, and have Wilson, Gaby Justin and Stack, pretty impressive pressing midfileders.

Get Trafford and then a No. 2 on loan would be fine and likely quite easy.

Id really like to keep Gruev, Bornaauw, Gnonto, Longstaff and even Piroe.
Aaronson seems superfluous now in spite of being a good lad.
I'd even keep James unless he has bump in wages in his contract.

We have a solid squad to finish 11th this season, which would be my target position.

Sell Gnonto, Piroe and james plus all the players that were out on loan last season except Harry Gray.

No shortage of back up GK's, I think this hold teams to hostage is a bit of fan paranoia tbh ... You're saying pay a back up keeper more than half your first team players...

The likes of Nyland is a perfect fit and available on a free.

This is very important. I always felt it was a bit unsettling for us when we had both Martyn and Robinson as our keepers.

reports suggest LUFC will let perri go out on loan with only an OPTION to buy if Traffrord comes. WTF we might as well keep him as our number 2 OR we should of doubled the wages for Darlow but as a number 2.

Squad looks pretty thin from what I see of the preseason tour squad list

20 senior players and 10 youth players. Okafor to add to that. But Perri to remove.

We're certainly 2 or 3 players light - And thats if we dont let anyone else leave.

We might be looking for a No 2 on lower wages? If there is any issue with our No 1 keeper (hopefully that is resolved soon) Perri is not good enough to come in and take over to be perfectly blunt.
