New manager bounce. Just needs to stick Haaland up front & point him in the right direction.

I do think Man City are better equipped to be able to move on from Pep without a drop off than other clubs would be - they won titles under Mancini and Pellegrino prior to Pep arriving. With MU it seemed that they stopped investing in the team and were getting by through Fergie's sheer stubborness in getting the most out of the team. So for me it could almost be like Liverpool under Slot whereby they get away with it for a season, the players still on auto, playing like they did previously and it is only as time goes on that it becomes evident that the new manager isn't actually any good (or not as good as his predecessor). So it may be that City have a great season but then the next season as Maresca's influence grows that the team suffers.

Let's hope so.
Have to love the Arsenal fans who, after David Moyes met with no success after replacing Sir Alex, lifted a banner with Moyes' picture on it with the caption "There's only one David Moyes."
A couple of years later when van Gaal took over and Man U still struggled, the Arsenal fans raised a banner with his photo on it with the caption "There are two David Moyes."

Ask me at Christmas as I do not have a Scooby right now. Whilst Arsenal are the obvious choice Saliba is out for quite a while, and he is a big loss for them.

With Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City having new coaches I’ve got a feeling Manure might nick it.
They have the players but the entitled mentality and players happy just picking up paycheques has stopped them.
It’s not something I like to think about.

Manure finished 3rd last season, after the top six looked beyond them with Rúben Amorim in charge. Carrick turned them around.
