Didn’t know it was an official ruling, I thought it was an option. What do I know?

We were happy to pay the salary of 130k per but Chelsea wanted more, so presumably a large loan fee. Best walk away, you're right

Would imagine the guarantee of playing time will be the bigger factor. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Mon Aug 24, 2026 11:41 am We were happy to pay the salary of 130k per but Chelsea wanted more, so presumably a large loan fee. Best walk away, you're right
A few million in loan fee is irrelevant to them.
They need him playing regularly.
DF hasn't always been keen on that for loans (including Buonanotte) so assume Chelsea want assurance.
No way should we give it, he's hardly prime Messi.

Apparently they called the offer of full salary "derisory" so I'd imagine money was a factorCjay wrote: ↑Mon Aug 24, 2026 11:48 am Would imagine the guarantee of playing time will be the bigger factor.

Re: Mykhailo Mudryk - Loan Talks stalled on Chelsea side
The Chelsea’s, Man City’s & Arsenal’s of this world leave players rotting on the bench & then expect other teams to pay for the privilege of getting them fit again, I really hope our owners tell them to go **** themselves.

I don't get it. They wanted us to pay a higher salary than he is on? 100% wasn't enough? The Subhuman wrote: ↑Mon Aug 24, 2026 12:04 pm Apparently they called the offer of full salary "derisory" so I'd imagine money was a factor

They wanted a loan fee on top of full wages.

Not unusual I would say, but I think them additionally wanting guaranteed games and no option to buy on top of loan fee and full wages is taking the p1ss.
Walk away. They're not going to find anyone willing to take him on the terms they're dictating.

I watched Messi in the World Cup. And I watch him every week playing for Inter Miami in MLS. Mudryk isn't even close to 39 year old Messi!!Cjay wrote: ↑Mon Aug 24, 2026 11:48 am Would imagine the guarantee of playing time will be the bigger factor.

And a fine if he doesn’t play.

Re: Mykhailo Mudryk - Loan Talks stalled on Chelsea side
Club feel player wants the move.
Chelsea want assurances on game time etc.
Chelsea prefer to send him to their feeder club but players wants to play in the Prem.
Club see the opportunity as low risk high reward for a player who cost £80mil and would usually be out of our reach.
We seem to be ignoring the fact he was a flop and Chelsea massively overpaid.
And the no risk part? He hasn't played for 2 years.
Please just walk away.
