Joe might quite fancy it at left back!
With injuries and rotation I would be surprised if Elvedi ends up playing quite a lot, looked assured on Tuesday night. Impressed with the upgrades at the back this summer, four very capable centre backs with Ampadu and Justin to cover.

Indeed. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2026 11:55 am Probably not but more teams playing international football at a higher level and big squads mean todays Leeds are more likely to have four international CB's than Revie's Leeds or even O'Leary's Leeds

Tried to visualise this but my brain explodedThe Subhuman wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2026 3:29 pm Wonder if we could consider a fluid 4
Rodon - Bijol - Elvedi - Muharemovic
We could play wingers with that formation and still have the pivot plus a 8/10 hybrid

I fully agree with you and am worried at the madness spreading through the forum.
Rodon will not be converted to a full back (though he will be encouraged to attack from his central position) and we will not play 4 centrebacks as a formation barring a remarkable injury crisis

I questioned who was for the chop when we signed Elvedi. Hard to leave any of these out but, for me, and pace aside, Rodon is behind the other 3. But he is undroppable! As mentioned by others: what a conundrum to have. Not voted because there is not a best 3 IMO...

81% voted for the Rodon - Bijol - Muharemovic combination.
