I was really upset not to vote for our Blackpool beach 🐴 🏖️ superstar 🐴 😂

But, Trafford wins it no contest, he's more comfortable on the ball than most of our outfield players 😂

Cumbrian lad, who grew up 7 miles away from me, what more can I say 😊

Congratulations on your 1st vote Sean Longstaff

Our two big signings of the summer have gathered 76% of the votes.

Surely if Trafford wins player of the season, we’ve probably struggled defensively?

Kind of logic I like .... You know you've been lucky/had a bad game if the keeper is MOTM, same applies to season. How we do this year will depend on our midfield. Last two POTS have both been midfielders, if Stach makes it a third then we'll have had a good season. DCL with 20 plus would force his name into the mix too

Not neccesarily. Am sure Trafford was Burnley's player of the year (or maybe 2nd to Brownhill) as they got promoted and conceded just 16 all season. Wasn't about Burnley being poor defensively but that he made their defensive record so much better (they had an expected goals against that was higher than ours so put him behind our defence that season and we probably concede around 15 to 20 less goals).
