Massive shame not to get the 3 points to warm our cockles over the next 3 weeks but a point leaves us 5th which is a good start to the season in anyone’s money.

Far too much expected after Newcastle. They were truly awful and almost certainly won’t be that bad again.
9pts is an excellent start but perhaps don’t book your European train tickets for next season. Yet…
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

We are also unbeaten. Which is a big positive going into the Arsenal game. However I think we were last season as well

I think we stole a point tbh, very poor performance.
Arsenal will clatter us if we rock up like this at their gaff.
Just trying to figure out what happened since last game. Maybe the lads gave 120% against Newcastle and the first matches that they already felt the fatigue? Tanaka and Stach were poor today, hardly visible. We just didn’t show up. 3 full points were there to be taken before the long break. Next match is Arsenal and that could be very ugly given they were battered by Brighton and want to make things good again.

Poor game management then. We were 4-0 with over 20 mins left, so should've subbed a few players to rest them.

Only naive fan will think about Europe. First pri should be to get to those 40 points. We are not an established PL side yet.

It's a nice thought.
I'm sure most realise Europe won't happen based on performances.
I'm hoping for somewhere in the 12th-9th range.
We will need to find some consistency though, bar Newcastle we range from the decent to the pretty awful sometimes multiple times a game.
We've probably stolen 3-4 points as is.

We have a team of hard working big athletes with a few exceptions ,but no real creativity apart from Okafor and hopefully Bahoya but i think Trafford will keep us comfortably midtable.

Okafor isn't particularly creative, he can beat players with pace but he won't get many assists in a season. Good finisher though, probably the best finisher at the club now
