Wow, well done Wakey! Phenomenal result that and by a very unexpectedly large margin. Hope we have enough in the tank for the final.

Brilliant Wakey! Words I never thought would come out of my mouth, but fair play, they worked as a team from 1-17. Darryl has got a real chance at OT, hope they don’t bottle it like we did.

Unfortunately not. The only game during that time was home against the Rhinos and it was impossible to get a seat. I asked a friend of mine who goes with his wife and son and they couldn't find one either through their contacts. As it was, Wakey was having a bit of a wobble and lost the game from a winning position 22-24.

And so it was, the grittiest performance you will ever see holding on to their 8-6 half time lead to spoil Wigan's double treble attempt.Prisoner37 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2026 10:33 am Now need to get behind York Valkyries this aft to make it a double Wigan Walloping Weekend.
Lisa Parker played with a broken hand and after lifting the trophy her boyfriend proposed to her live on Sky Sports - a risky decision I thought but she said yes!
Just need Wakey to make it a Yorkshire double now - glad we've got tickets for Mold Trafford.

Did any of you see the NRL game on Sunday ?
The Aussie captain got a broken leg from a hip drop tackle and will now miss the W C.
He already had trouble with his other leg and both have been operated on.
The Newcastle player was sent off but they were able to beat Penrith with a man down.
Newcastle got the wooden spoon last season & are in the grand final this season.
