Leeds need to bring in a midfielder who can score goals and a decent number 9 in Jan 2027.

Indeed. They can spend money, and that's okay cos they have won stuff in the past etc and bring in plenty of revenue. No other clubs should be allowed to compete or have owners with ambition and that are prepared to put their own money in.
Man City were bought for £200m and are now owrth somewhere between £4.1bn and £7.5bn. So for all the money the owners have pumped in, even if via dubious sponsorship deals. their asset has risen incredibly in value and that doesn't happen without them being able to spend on good players.
It's wrong for Man City owners to exploit loopholes to plough money into the club and community. without wanting any of it back
It is right for Man U owners to lump the club with debt, put none of their own money in and continually take money (£bns) out of the club.
Football - funny ol' game.
