Allocation should be good as it is quite a big end at the Ricoh stadium

Yeah been there before when it was Kevin Blackwell last game as Leeds manager, its not that far from here. I sold my Leeds shirt for £40 to some foreign person who wanted it for his son who hadnt been able to get to the game. I only paid £35 for it so made £5 profit. Shame we lost the game 1-0.1964white wrote: Coventry not too far for you Jo

After the game there was a bit of trouble too with a few Leeds fans waiting for the players to get back on the team coach - and one guy was particularly after Blackwell's head - he eventually had to be escorted away before Blackwell could be allowed out. Had to feel sorry for Blackwell afterwards though, as me and Dan were walking back to the car, we saw him drive off in his own car looking really pissed off. He did give us a wave though.
Dan had his photo took with Paul Butler that day too.

Snap. I've just applied for the same games, but I didn't realise today was the day to apply - usually the official site reminds you in the news section. Maybe this is their way of not overloading their IT system 10am on a Monday. Damn, guess I'm unlikely to be successful in my applications now.jim052 wrote:Bugger didnt realise it was today, I just booked reading and coventry, I'm thinking I have applied far 2 late but hoping the larger stadiums means more seats and more chance of gettin tickets

Re: Phase two away tickets application
I put the date in my diary ages ago then forgot about it. At 10.04 I suddenly remembered it out of nowhere, and raced to the PC. By 10.25 I'd requested tickets for Boro, Coventry, Norwich, Reading and Burnley. Probably too late for most of these, but we'll see. As consolation booked tkts for Barnsley - hadn't planned to go cos got an early morning flight, but need to get a Leeds fix soon - only been to Bury and Forest games so far this season!

Good job '64 reminded you then, more upto date than LU's websiteCardiffWhite wrote: Snap. Re: Phase two away tickets application
All good allocations i believe. Boro' could be the problem if the police have their say & restrict our allocation as they have done previously due to Leeds fans standing at games. Tbh Boro' & the police are cutting their own throats especially as they now in the Championship & are struggling with their attendances. Reckon Leeds could take 5000 fans there even though it's on TV, don't be surprised if they only give us 2000 tickets though.Sniffer72 wrote:I put the date in my diary ages ago then forgot about it. Remember last time Boro' were on Sky v the Blades,14,000 attended could be the same again as their fickle fans will not turn up

Re: Phase two away tickets application
For some reason the one I really want is Burnley. I liked the way we dominated their fans in the pre season last year. And the wooden seats are pure 1970's.1964white wrote: All good allocations i believe. Yes, thanks for that - I'd still be none the wiser if you hadn't posted that. I hope I can get those games as I haven't been away for a while.1964white wrote: Good job '64 reminded you then, more upto date than LU's website![]()

Re: Phase two away tickets application
I've just seen the reminder on the O/S. It is filed away at the end of another article about the Barnsley allocation:

"Fans are also advised that Phase 2 of our away games is now on sale."
