Kasper Schmeichel appreciation thread

Post by Crude »

Thank you Kasper for doing what you could with a sh*it defense in front of you all season long. Think he got a raw deal by the club. Feel bad for him. Whatever Simon says about the situation, it was clearly badly handled and probably won't inspire potential signees of the club with much confidence in their future. Best of luck Kasper!

I've already wish him all the best for the future on another thread

No doubt once he leaves Leeds he will improve his all round game as he ages like many goalies do & go onto be the Danish No.1 keeper for years to come

Good luck Kasper

Making a living out of his surname. An average keeper.

All the best Kasper,
my son is devestated, He now has to rename his goldfish!

You've been a breath of fresh air, (love that you interacted with fans on twitter etc)
and we could see what every goal meant to you.
A true footballing gentleman, who we'll miss terribly!

Hope that little guy you wandered around the pitch with pulls on the number 1 jersey one day too!
At least until the world stops going round!

Yep cheers Kasper had a decent year!

Crude Shoe we've already signed a new goalkeeper, subject to medical.. probably be announced in a few days.

"A week or so ago, before all this with Kasper, we agreed a deal, subject to a medical, with a goalkeeper who will come in"

I think it is actually Shay Given..

Don't think this mystery keeper is suppose to be our number one though, much less Given. We'll see Tobias McMuncher, irons in the fire, and all that.

"A week or so ago, before all this with Kasper, we agreed a deal, subject to a medical, with a goalkeeper who will come in, but we will be looking for another as well."

I forgot to post the end bit, "But we will be looking for another as well"

So im guessing the one that is going through a Medical is our first choice keeper..

It's gotta be someone from the Premier league surely? Grayson couldn't beilive his luck when a top goal keeper agreed to actually join Leeds, so Grayson had to get rid of Kasper because he knew he wouldn't sit on the bench all the time, and we would miss out on selling him for cash next season, because his contract is up.

So now was the Perfect time, i think it's Given because of the ammount of Rumours that appeard from No where last night, Man city would pay half his wages no doubt, It probably is a season loan though on the hope that we get promoted.

Don't disagree with decision to get rid but it's a disgrace that Grayson has had to publicly slate Kasper in order to justify the transfer. That's not how I want my club to conduct itself.

Graysons mental! He's a good character, loads of nottingham forest fans was comparing him to Don Revie re-born when he ran onto the pitch in the Nottingham forsest game and got Cohen sent off

Given would be amazing short term, but isnt he 36,37? We will only get him on loan for next season, could of had kasper for years! But I guess he is a much better keeper than Kasper at the moment and all that matters is getting out of this leauge, and Given is an amazing shot stopper, can command the box and is IRISH :-D
Cant see it happening though :(
