If you look at the rest of the marks i have given you will see plenty of players below Lonergan on the performance of the team he has got a higher mark.Twiggster wrote:Thanks for the ratings, E.Yorks...however - a keeper who saves a pen is worth at least a 9 in any game!
OK - Killa's superb goal caught him out - but it caught out our whole midfield and defence as well. Killa should have been closed down before he could pull the trigger.

I'm a big fan of Lonergan but the penalty resulted from a poor kick from him direct to an opposition player (nowhere near Howson as you stated in your usual blind anti-Howson prejudice yesterday) O'Dea got turned (not Kisnorbo) leaving Kisnorbo chasing a defender into the box. Clumsy challenge, red card and penalty.Twiggster wrote:Thanks for the ratings, E.Yorks...however - a keeper who saves a pen is worth at least a 9 in any game!

Credit to Lonergan for saving the penalty he himself caused but you don't get a 9 for it.
As for the defence closing Killa down, it was a first time hit. Great hit and nowt the defence or Donnie Lonergan could have done about it.

I couldn't agree more, Snoddy has been average at best, yes he has scored a stunning free-kick & made a couple of assists, i'd expect it bit more tbh, especially if he is as good as everyone makes him out to be !eastyorkshirewhite wrote: No ,but for me this season Snodgrass has under performed he just does not seem interested will be looking to see how he performs on tues night if selected.
I've always thought he was over-rated, the little fella now plying his trade in France was three times as productive & never stopped running even in the 94th minute. Snoddy is knackered after 65/70 minutes

Check the assists stats - saying Max was more effective is like saying Becchio is more effective. Totally different players and totally different roles in the team. Max made his own goals. Snoddy makes other people's goals. Balance!
