Team/Ratings v The Posh...

Post by 1964white »

I expect Larry to select the same eleven that started in the Coventry game

The only changes i would make would be on the bench, Bromby for Kisnorbo & Nunez for Forssell

Kisnorbo is unfit & Forssell is so similar to Becchio, Nunez would give us a different option

Rachubka

Connolly Lees O'Dea White

Snoddy Howson Clayton Pugh

McCormack Keogh

Subs : Cairns Bromby Vayrynan, Becchio, Nunez

Please Simon, no unneccessary meddling in this game, we need the three points !

Makes sense to me Leon and dropping Forssell rather than Becchio means that Angela won't have arranged for you to be taken out.
Un Marcelo Bielsa, solo hay un Marcelo Bielsa. Gracias Marcello. Marsching on together.

LOL Harry. I'm surprised 64 has allowed Becchio on the bench tbh what with him being such an unfit overweight donkey  :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Bears can be very dangerous Harry :bear: :bang:

Becchio keeps his place on the bench as he will score goals when he retains his fitness, needs 20/25 minutes only if we are winning the game comfortably

At least having Nunez or Sam on the bench would give us options although i'm unconvinced whether either are good enough for first team duty yet !

That's the reason he is on the bench right now, as i said not his fault as he's had a serious injury & he is nowhere near the Becchio we know atm !

Remember Keogh has played prem football & is definitely the right option for the time being, linking up play with McCormack & the midfield really well !

May not be able to start the same line up, Leon: Injury doubts?
Mind you, this could be SG mind games!

I agree with your staring XI, '64.
The bench is a tough one though:
Ok, Cairns is obvious,
If Bruce is fit, id have him for the defender....if not, then Bromby i guess :(
Nunez i agree with
Vayrynen i agree with
And then its a toss up between who's the fittest , Forssell or Becchio ...
I preferred it with 7 substitutes haha  Grayson must have a headache.

Bruce still unfit

Bromby can play right-back & centre-back

.............Rach

..conns.....lees......o'dea......white

.............clayton

.......mika..........pugh

.snods.....................keogh

.............macca

subs.cairns, bromby, howson, sam, becchio

defence getting better and should have had 3 clean sheets on trot so why change.
midfield over run in second half v coventry, and is posh strong point so need to have 3 in there to battle but also all good at getting forward.
attackers can rotate between themselves in the central, wide and channels to cause alot of problems.
should be goals between these to sides, so now i've said that put yr money on a nil nil draw!!

No Leon - just great minds thinking alike. Vayrynen has more bottle and BITE than jonny wonny and can tackle and distribute/run forwards - instead of just passing to Clayton every time, like our "captain" does.
I think Clayton has proved himself worthy enough to wear the arm band - lickle jonny needs a kick up the arse and be told he does NOT get automatic selection every game.

Anyway - I'd have Ramon in place of Sam on the bench that Josh posted.

Posh are disappointed we have "only" sold 4150 tickets, of the 5K we were offered. That's posh - whose average home crowd was less than that last season and whose average away crowd was a whole 653! :sing: :roflmao:
I truly hope we smash the twots tomorrow!

Adrian Durham tonight on Talksport was having a right laugh at us not selling all our tickets. Said we were supposed to have a loyal following.

Rachubka
Connolly - Lees - O'Dea - White
Snoddy - Howson - Clayton - Pugh
Forssell - Becchio

6-0 Leeds. Hat trick from each of the strikers

You forgot the 7 own goals from Chubby - who you blame for WW2, the sinking of the Titanic, the 1912 mining disaster and the tsunami in Japan.

Actually Twiggs, i think ive only mentioned him once on the forum and that was when he dropped the ball with 15 seconds to play resulting in a goal and a ruined result.

I have nothing against Paul Rachubka at all. Notice how he's in my side, not Alex Cairns
