Just wondered if anyone had heard anything further about our newest aquisition Robbie Rogers? Has he completed all of the formalities and officially joined Leeds yet? Know he was granted a work permit and we were just awaiting a visa or something? Is this all completed yet? Seems to be dragging out for a very long time.

Also, when he does sign, Grayson says he is going to be immediately used in his plans. Assuming that he is in the starting 11, which position will he play and what formation will Grayson utilise? Got to hold my hands up and say that I've never seen this lad play so unsure of what to expect from him.

I did some research on the guy when I heard we'd agreed terms.
From what I understand he plays left mid but is right footed, however from youtube videos he has a cracking left peg aswell. He won the hardest working player award for Columbus Crew for 2011 so I would expect alot of tracking back aswell as going forward and if Fifa 12 is correct he has decent pace.
Just waiting on a Visa I think, expected to be involved against Birmingham on Tuesday.

Thats spot on mate. Cheers. I'd heard good things about him along with the usual bad tags that come with a free agent. Fingers crossed that he gets a decent run out and isn't used like Seb Carole.

Might have to look at him on Fifa 12. Need some more midfielders to add to my current squad..... Then again, if I play Fifa again my girlfriend might break my PS3.

Don't! He's garbage on it, I bought him to see if he was any good, he's quick but has no agility, Pugh and Nunez are much better.
And tell me about it, my girlfriend knows every song on the Fifa Soundtrack I play it that much.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing/hearing what he can do. We need more hard working players and it'll push Townsend to the bench so that he can be more of an impact player...

Or from past experience he'll sit in the reserves for half a season, then go out on loan to 'get used to the English game' . . Then come back and play a few games, score a few goals, really push his way into the first team and then . . Be inexplicably dropped and seldom seen again :D

Never seen him play on the right - and anyway, Snoddy is going nowhere.
