Exactly. I'm quite excited by the prospect of lees and O'Dea developing together. Still need another more experienced head though i feel.

Well, since O'Dea's main alternative is to go back to a team who will probably win their league with ease and have little competitiveness, will he want to go back there? But, if we can get better CBs there is probably no need for him. Harsh maybe, but that's football, a ruthless business

To be fair Lees & O'Dea have probably been our most consistent pairing but i always feel there is a mistake in O'Dea's game, he's done ok, we need to replace him with a better quality centre back, our defence requires major surgery !

I wouldnt personally keep O-Dea at Leeds beyond the end of this season, nothing to do with the sending off, just that we need a really dominant and pacey central defender.

Whilst Lee's should definitely stay, I dont honestly think he is good enough, yet, to make up a promotion winning central defensive partnership. Squad player for me next year....someone who can cover RB and CB positions.

Agree Gurj we need pace throughoot the team. I still don't think Lees is quite ready for the first eleven yet, he is still learning his trade, all the same young Tom is a very good prospect !

If we got in an experienced partner for Lees and a good (like properly good, not just passable) RB then I wouldn't mind having Lees start next season. He's done pretty well by all accounts this season, and he'll only improve with experience.

Really hope Colin doesn't persist playing him at full back though, he'll develop quicker if played in his more natural role...

As for O'Dea, he's proved a liability many times this season, you don't want someone who's going to get suspended 3 times (esp. when two of these have come for needless decisions...)!

I agree 64, I don't think Lees is ready. Would make a good sub. need cover for injury's and suspensions.

I really rate young Lees but he needs more time !
