Austin, powers his way through his first league game for Leeds. (see what I did there ).
He looks like he could be what we've been missing in midfield.
I also thought Pearce looked terrific at the back.
I do think that we need to sign at least one more goal scorer. We are a little thin in that area.
Overall, I'm pleased with the way they played in the first game and very happy with the 3 points.
This guy can play and doesn't take a backward step, he looked a bit suspect when was moved to right back but can't blame him. Haven't been this excited for a while with this squad, can only get better with so many new players playing together.
Didnt get chance to see the game yesterday as i was away but from reading posts on here im getting pretty excited about Austin and his potential in the team. Its crazy to think how much the squad has changed since 6 months ago but he sounds like just the kind of player we needed to bring in
To be honest i personally am exited about the hole squad that is being put together and its not finished yet. Last year there were only one or two to be bothered about think it just shows how much better NW is at spotting players.

Yeh i definately agree with this, there are many players to get excited about. Players we can hopefully learn more about as the season goes on and that can really give us something to shout about. We have had some really good players in recent years, but we havent had that team atmosphere, lets hope this is set to change. I agree NW has done a good job with the players hes brought in so far
