Tbh not a big deal if Warnock was planning to play him at left back again. Maybe this will force him to actually play a LB at LBbecchio bear wrote:

At least if Peltier is out...Drury a proper left-back should take that positionbecchio bear wrote:

Looks that way. But you never know. Drury could be playing as a RM and Varney as a LB1964white wrote:

Team;
Kenny
Byram Lees Pearce Drury
Green Norris Brown Varney
Becchio Diouf.
Quite an old midfield we got there. In fact, quite an old team all round, bar a few.

Sounds poor again. Get hall, white and tonge on, add some pace, Green, brown and varney off. Lets get that win and into play off places.

Missing the Beast and Ross.
Hopefully this was varney's last chance and he will be loaned out or sacked. WTF?
Looking forward to game reports from fans at the game.
Did becchio do ANYTHING except get carded?
Did Green do anything at all?
Did ANY of our players put in any effort at ALL?
Crowd was silent too....

Goals and manager comments in the Video Forum - Warnock disappointed with fans. I'm disappointed with our shyte defence and keeper for their goal. Ashdown IN!

Brown - 3
Norris - 5
Varney - 2
Becchio - 2

Couldn't believe my ears when i heard the negative team he had selected...knew before i stepped into the ground what was upon us for the next couple of hourstheleedsmango wrote:Team;

Drury was the only sensible change...plays Green out of position who has played only one game so far...Norris AND Brown in the middle & the inadequate Reg Varney on the left, so we had three midfielders who all play the same way with a big girls blouse thrown in for good measure

Looking forward to the return of Austin. When is Hall going to get a chance? Sounds like he may have some energy and pace to give us some bite up front. Probably Warnock will wait until the cup game to blood him. Any news on Ross? Thought I heard recently that he might be ready sooner than originally thought?

The best players on pitch last night were Brown, Byrum and Tonge when he came on. You all slate Becchio, but again he never got any service yet again. Hoofing it up field for him to flick on when he is furthest man forward isn't working.

We missed the Beast.... big time! His only replacement seems to be Browny, and tbh he's a red card waiting to happen!
I tried to think of a single word which summed up the game last night, and came up with loads!
How about..... dull, dispirited, tedious, obtuse, sluggish, wearisome, brainless, boring, witless, vacuous, stolid, moronic, indolent..... need I go on?
Has the Friday effect hit us that hard? No-one (on either side to be truthful) seemed to have any energy or desire, and that goes for the crowd too... less than 17500! That's appalling! Why the hell does Diouf see the need to, when he has beaten a defender out on the wing, turn round and try to beat him again and again, that's just showing off! We lacked pace, interest and invention everywhere, and desperately need the likes of McCormack and/or Somma back, get Poleon back and use him, try out Ryan Hall, any bloody thing instead of our current wandering around the field in a daze!
The only tiny bright spot was the Kop, who, when the Assistant Ref's flag went on the blink, broke out with "Sh!t Flags, we only get Sh!t flags!" God, I needed a bit of humour to stop me crying!

You can tell me off all you like BB, i viewed all Becchio's inadequacies with a recently new pair of spectacles from Specsavers...you know it is true deep down because i've actually witnessed it & would i lie to you or anybody else for that matter ?becchio bear wrote:
