They had better start offering Leeds United serious money too then...

The club has already released a statement that the Turkish club involved does not begin with a "G".

I approve of Warnock's comment in the YEP article.

“If we don’t sign a replacement then he can’t go anywhere whether he likes it or not. But if we do then he’s quite welcome to go because you only want players who want to be here.”

Yep - i also approve. I was also quite pleased with the way that Leeds new boys handled the situation , not sure who follows twitter but news broke of this unnamed turkish side and there was an awful lot of angry suggestions the team began with a "G", so i was quite impressed of the announcement it wasnt who the rumours said it was.

I would take 4 mil for him.

He needs to make up his mind. Hands in a transfer request, but wants to stay at Leeds. If its only money you are here for, you are welcome to sign for whoever, providing we get a decent fee and it suits us.

As GW quoted Warnock saying above, he will go on our terms.

Turkish clubs seem to be buying and/or linked with a lot of big name players during this window. Sneidjer (sp) has already gone there and talk this morning was of Drogba/Kolo Toure following.

In the BBC story on Kamara it also says that Becchio is at Norwich right now discussing personal terms. So it looks like he's signing with Norwich.

What a beautifull thought, norwich getting relegated along with johnson/howson/snoddy and becchio, would be very satisfieng even if leeds didn't go up.

(And god this forum is quiet, like 1 post every 15 minutes...zzzz)

Phil Hay tweeting that Morison is at Leeds having talks and Becchio is in Norwich, doing the same. He understands the mustards will agree to a straight swap and give us £1M

I have no wish to see Norwich relegated, but in one way it would be poetic justice, or is it karma (Dharma) that those who could not bear with us didn't get to stay in the Prem.
No, my thoughts will rise above that scenario.

take it....Morrison is quality at this level. If we can add Warnock on a permanent and a skill midielder to replace Barkley that wouldn't be a bad window...albeit one funded not by GFH but by the sale of Becchio.....

Funded by GFH or not, it would still make a refreshing change for money received from the sale of players to be invested in the team.
