Massive respect for an ex-player from our fans as we sang a rendition of JB songs when he warmed up on the touchline & as he entered the field of play during the 2nd half to give Huddersfield even more fire-power to add to their frontline playing alongside James Vaughan, I'd take these two strikers above our bunch of average/shot-shy strikers anyday !
Jermaine waved to the kop a couple of times & didn't celebrate the Huddersfield winning goal whatsoever as he jogged back to the halfway line. Noticed he was signing lots of autographs for our West Stand fans. Good on you Bruv
He loves it & 1000's of our fans love him. Never been replaced unfortunately !

Sorry, but I just don't get why Leeds fans would applaud and cheer ANY opposition player, who deserted us for the "big time"
Less respect from me than opposition players in general. Fans are at Elland Road to cheer on OUR team FFS. And to give the opposition players grief - whoever they are.

maybe its because they like to show appreciation for the service they gave the club not all players get it.

Jermaine is a legend as not only did he give us all a day to remember with his goal in a scum s**thole, he also scored the equaliser v Bristol Rovers on the final day of our L1 campaign. Without Beckford's 30+ goals we would still be plying our trade in League One now. He has earned RESPECT !
I will applaud Jonny Howson if he ever returns to ER too....that should guile you even more
