He walked out, seems to think he can walk back one day, backed Suarez over the Evra race thing and signed a striker with a double barrelled name. All unforgivable.

WHAT is going on in this match! 3 sending offs now, 2 for leeds and 2 of them at least confusing or perhaps debatable?
Anyone able to shed some light on the reds?

EDIT - diouf off for gesture to away fans but no one else seems to have seen it and isnt a gesture to away fans normally punished with a yellow?

To be fair today was quite exceptional, the lads also played very well indeed with 10 & 9 men.
They on another day would have scored 2 or 3 and won with less men.

Think the Leeds fans summed it up singing "2.1 to the referee".

I haven't seen the incidents so cant really comment properly but I'm doubting there was any need for 3 sending offs, it didn't sound even close to a dirty match.

Even on the official website report, it says the assistant saw "something" regarding diouf being sent off.
SOMETHING.

Clearly it seems he was the only person in the whole ground to have seen this red card offense.

Seems to have grabbed his balls, yellow card at best, never a red card  :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Having just seen the highlights on tv Austin's sending off was ridiculously harsh and the cameras didn't show Diouff doing anything after scoring - didn't go towards any fans and didn't make any gestures.

Looks like the ref had an absolute shocker.

What puzzles me about this 'offence' is that only a couple of weeks ago, a Sheff Wendies player scored, ran straight to the Kop North West side, ranting at our supporters, gesticulating etc, got nothing in a really provocative display. In fact, the ref started to pull a card out, realised the guy was already on a yellow, and would have to be sent off, so changed his mind. This offence, although provocative, was never a red card, yellow at worst, and a telling off would have been fair.
That aside, grow up Diouf!

Just shows how ridiculous the system is. So what if a second yellow would have sent him off, if he deserved the second yellow then he deserved it. If Diouf did gesticulate then either a ticking off would have sufficed or at best a yellow card, players get career changing injuries due to rash challenges and their opponent usually just get a yellow card :bear:

Alternatively Diouf did what we always knew he would, fessed up on his 18th chance and should walk. Only one team gonna win until Diouf did a Diouf. McDermott unimpressed thankfully.

Really enjoyable game. Fortunately it didn't matter so we could luxuriate in a comedy spectacle. No surprise we played better with 10. Rudy isn't good enough. I mean really isn't good enough as in dont give him the ball cos it aint coming back.

10 v 11 is doable. 9 v 10 never is. Even with 9 we were looking good until Ross messed up yet another dead ball and Gulls ran away and scored. Needs to get off twitter and onto the training pitch young Ross.

Green probably motm. Bringing Brown on for Tonge probably McDermotts only wrong move. We needed legs not history.

Really enjoyable game but I would have been very angry if points mattered.

And for once I'm glad it's over, need to put Warnock behind us. Fresh start - McDermott's team. Cant wait,

Hope Byram was injured not protected.

well the curtain comes down on a poor season the main thing is we have survived relegation and look forward to next season proviging gfh come up with the money because next season this division will be a lot harder. So one more game a day out at Watford and i will not be upset if we lose providing Hull do not get what they need.Well her is ratings for the final home game.

Kenny 5 Not a lot to do
Peltier 5 Could not get forward to much
Lees 3 A bad mistake but never mind this manager will not slate him
Pearce 4 Hopefully will not be here next season
Warnock 5 His form has dipped
Tonge 5 Looked jaded
Austin 3 Gave the ref the chance to send him off
Green 5 Did not look comfortable
Varney 5 Another who will not be here next season
McCormack 8 Stood ouy a miile just wish he had a bit of pace
Diouf Zero Spoilt a good display by his stupid behaviour

Assuming you were there, you'd have seen Byram out training before the match. He was injured.

Why will it be a lot harder next season? That's what they said last season and the teams have been just as crap.

Thought we played well today and didn't deserve to loose, Lees is still too accident prone for me thought Peltier had a cracking game at RB, Tonge wasn't bad either, McCormack was his usual self all over the place, Diouf was quality and squeezing his nallocks in front of the backticklers was piss funny although it cost us the game but hey ho onwards and upwards roll on next season

Best moment was Brown coming on as sub and Leeds fans singing "we've only got 8 men" :roflmao:

Re Diouf, note to FL. Please clarify to refs that doing a Michael Jackson dance move after scoring is NOT a red card offence.

I disagree re Pelts. Although he had a better second half, likely due to the half time team talk, I felt we were significantly weaker down the right hand side than we had been with Byram. Granted, that may be more Byram's sheer quality than Peltier's lack thereof.

He had an OK game, certainly not as awful as he's been at full back and you can see it's a position he's comfortable with.
