Everybody knows someone who thinks that being gay is fine, but you should be quiet about it. Everybody knows someone who thinks that Pride marches are about prancing about and shoving your sexuality in the face of straight people.

Everybody knows that us gays are always banging on about these winter olympics and why Russia is such a bad place.

Even if you have no issues with the topic whatsoever PLEASE try to find an hour to watch this programme to understand the reasons behind the anger and disappointment. Maybe the next time you hear someone talking about it you could give them a better indication of what's happening to human beings under Puitn.

I saw clips from the documentary and will catch up with it on 4OD over the weekend, although it might be an idea for me to give it a wide berth as I know it's going to make me angry.
I listened to Nicky Campbell interviewing some lunatic, Russian minister the other morning about it. Silly f***er sounded like he'd stepped out of the 17th century. Absolutely mental. On the one hand he was talking about how family values were important and that homosexuality was "sinful" and then, in the same breath, claiming that there was no problem with homophobia in Russia.

Iv'e not watched the documentary and I don't really intend on doing so. That's not because I condone what Russia are doing but I don't need to see stuff to know that homophobia is as bad as any other form of bigotry.

At the end of the day we are all the same, Human Beings. It matters not a jot weather your colour, sexuality, weight, ethnicity is different from anothers.

I'll not support any organisation, country or person who's insecurities openly discriminate another person.
