No, it would cause chaos!

Much rather Cellino than GFH, as crazy as he is. His views on football may differ from mine but at least they are not based on Football Manager stats!

Ah, a poll

Despite criticism of some of his antics, I wouldn't want to see the club suffer more disruption. In fact, I would like to see Cellino operate on a financially level playing field, so that we can see the true motives of the man. What I would also like to see would be a complete overhaul of the "Fit and Proper Person Test" or whatever it is called now, as it is blatantly not fit for purpose.

Ha good to see, despite the vast differences of opinions on this site, it looks like we all agree on one thing!

Personally, I disagree with a lot of his ideas and tactics, I realise he is better for us than GFH or Bates and probably many other potential owners.

I'd say if you ran a similar poll amongst twitter, the majority would vote "yes". There appears to be a witch hunt to get him out now.

It matters not whether you like Cellino or not, to vote Yes is to say that you welcome the FL interfering in our affairs. Nobody who wants that is a Leeds fan.

So weve had risdale, the professor, Bates, GFH and now Cellinio.

Out of all those i would take Cellinio 100% of the time, yes were not performing on the pitch and it appears he is interfering with the team selection and obviously transfers but i feel we are financially stable at this point in time. First an foremost is the survival of my beloved LUFC regardless of what league we play in.

Each and everyone of the other 4 owners sucked the blood and life out of our club to the point of collapse.

Yes couldn't agree more Hibbi, those previous three almost broke our club beyond repair saddling us with immense debt

Good to see our members are united in the vote as any more destabilisation of LUFC would be a major setback

I don't think the professor should be lumped in with Bates and GFH as a vampire. He tried and failed to sort out the horrendous problems that Ridsdale left. Ridsdale is far more culpable than the prof.

Ridsdale is the one who broke it in the first place.....Prof tried to patch it with glue and bits of sticky tape, Bates added another layer of sticky tape, dropped it and tried to put it back together with some bits in the wrong place, GFH looked at it, didn't have a clue what they were looking at and took a hammer to it. Cellino may take a while to get it back to mint condition...

Two yeses? Not seen any arguement for that yet though!

Cellino has made improvements (to the club) to a certain extent, which is more than can be said for either Bates or GFH. Getting back on an even keel is important at the moment, especially with all this financial fair play stuff coming in.

The league position isn't pretty at the moment, but I've got faith that we'll turn it around. I don't think getting relegated would be as painful as last time either.

Like everyone else on this thread who has commented, I think Cellino is our only realistic hope and the only real football fan of our recent owners.
Whether he's seen as a necessary evil or as someone to be welcomed with open arms we need him.

Well here goes ...one of the yes's was from me and here's why.
I honestly don't think him getting a ban will affect the club too much, he will still own us, just with someone else at the helm, but the main reason I hope it happens is, we need something to give us a lift, something to get the club up, being loud n proud and I think the ban will do just that, the fans will get annoyed the club will be annoyed so hopefully it will give us the siege mentality that came with the -15 points. Perhaps wishful thinking but we need something from somewhere.

My feelings on Cellino hasn't changed since he came, I'm still 70% for him.The main plus for me is, he has invested his own money in this, so he needs things to succeed. He also has passion for football and the club it appears, I've read in some quarters that he doesn't care, I don't believe that for one minute. The things I don't like is his stubbornness in sticking with the diamond, it's not working and needs changing, his buying the players he wants is also a down point,plus he has too much influence on the team selection, I believe his record for sacking coaches is the one thing that will be a stumbling block for us, we will probably only attract second rate coaches, hopefully one of them gets lucky.

I haven't looked at it that way. I suppose it depends how far their ban stretches/how long it is for, but perhaps it would have the boosting effect that the -15 did.

He said in that recent interview that he doesn't like his record with managers and that he's going to give Redders the time he needs. Would be nice if that actually happens. Football is clearly his passion and he only wants what's best for the club(s) he owns. Firing managers can't be cheap, but at least he held his hands up and said that Milanic and Hockaday weren't good enough and that he made mistakes.
