I think England will put in a better performance this time around, however, I still rate Australia's team for me there are no weaknesses at all. Whilst England still have weaknesses in my opinion, we still don't have a fully settled team (i.e. several changes), a lack of quality spin bowlers, enough options what if Bell, Lyth and Ballance don't perform as well as expected who replaces them? If the worst comes to the worst and we are 2 down after 2 tests is Pietersen then really out of the question?
My prediction is 2-1 Australia, 3-2 if the weather allows all 5 test matches to finish.
I also predict:
Michael Clarke will make the most runs for the series, with Joe Root making the most runs for England.
Stuart Broad will take the most wickets for the series, with Mitchell Starc taking the most wickets for Australia.

I think Englands team for the first test should be: Cook,Lyth,Ballance,Bell,Root,Stokes,Buttler,Ali,Broad,Anderson and Wood.

Really hope i'm wrong but i reckon the Aussie's will be too good for us this time. Too many of our players are inconsistent right now which is a major concern for me. If all our players were in decent form i would fancy us as our squad are capable of competing with the best on home soil

Australia has better bowlers which is always the key to winning a test. England should improve on the last Ashes, but I reckon 3-1 to the Aussies.

Terrible track for a test match. Very slow track made to negate the pace of Starc and Johnson but does nothing for the viewing public.
