The lads proved me wrong ! Tactically they got it spot on. Not bull at a gate pressing but thoughtful pressing a bit like WBA against us. Clarkey showed great composure before squaring it to Pablo. Deffo one for starting now MB. The defence was immense but please...no more f*****g injuries !

BPF - 7 - A curate egg, some top draw saves but needs to practice under a high ball.

Dallas - 8 - One of his best games in a Leeds shirt
Douglas - 8 - Another good game and always a threat going forward, he'll hit the back of the net soon

Jansson - 8 - Usual commanding performance
Halme - 8 - Solid performance, never seemed panicked and almost put us in front
Phillips - 8 - Some wayward passing in dangerous areas that he got away with marks him down for me

Hernandez - 7 - Quiet game and was on track for one of his worst games then he scores ...otherwise this is a 6
Forshaw - 7 - Defensively sound, should have gotten the arm band when Coop went off (or Klich) Doesn't offer much around the box. He's our enforcer though
Klich - 8 - Imperious on the ball, always gets into positions you wouldn't expect
Alioski - 5 - Needs a rest and to be honest will probably be better off the bench for us, not the player from early in the season...Trying to hard, needs to take a leaf from Klich' book

Roofe - 9 - Simply sublime, the movement, the close control the touch, the instinctive finding of space. should have drawn a pen in the first, badly fouled on the edge of the box too which we should have done better from. Not forgetting the runs into channels and crossing. Teams have to defend him or he will hurt them. Much better than Sharpe ...Add to that more defensive work than most ...an excellent attack ending tackle, 3/4 clearing headers and an important block..first name on the team sheet for me..

Clarke - 8 - He's going to be a massive player for us assuming we can keep hold of him this Jan. Couple of things didn't work but the pass for the goal was top draw and a constant nuisance

Favourite performance of the season

Thats a performance of Champions.

We wernt at our best, Sheffield United had chances, we had chances, proper game.

Ref was shite, far to inconsistent for both sides, we should have had pens, probably so should Sheff for pulling. McGoldrick should have been off, Stevens was lucky to if the ref was consistent because there was one booking he should have got after being booked that he didnt.

Credit to the two youngsters who came on, Halme and Clarke, difficult circumstances, both did well, that cross from Clarke was top class, many far more experienced players would have panicked.

Douglas and Dallas were solid and disciplined.

Very good Phillips and Jansson, extra credit to Jansson as the senior cb he supported Phillips and Halme excellently.

BPF made some good saves, well done young man, but distribution must improve as must aerial balls, got to be stronger.

Klich is awesome, his composure on the ball is far better then this league.

Forshaw was ok, did a job.

Pablo was ok, but when it mattered he was quality, not easy in a tight game to control that bobbling ball.

Ali its time for the bench my friend, exhausted, not comfortable on the left, his effort is there but isnt having the inpact of the early season.

Roofe worked hard, tried to hold the ball up and trackd back well.

A really solid performance.

Great all round team performance ( except Alioski!!! ) I thought Dallas was outstanding and Phillips is so calm and assured considering his age, sooo looking forward to my weekend at Leeds next week

Lots of good performances, Phillips and Dallas the picks for me. Jansson, Klich and hernandez quality too though.

Ali really needs to be dropped. Just need a new winger in January. Oh and a new keeper, bpf can't seem to get anywhere near the ball when off his line for a cross
