The Norwich fans will soon need to use their second hands to count the added minutes.

Since Ayling has come back, 6 in 3 after 3 clean sheets in 4. Not blaming it on him, but we were stronger without him and didn't need to rush him back.

So the top 3 all drop points with WBA sneaking a draw with a very late equaliser. 4th,5th and 6th all win to tighten things up a bit.

Norwich losing and WBA only drawing and losing Rodriguez along with Gayle, not too bad a day all things considered.

Just think our lack of individual quality will show at times.
Jansson aside we dont really have a quality defender, Ayling, Douglas, Phillips are all susceptible to defensive brain farts.
BPF concedes to many for the amount of saves he has to make.
And Bielsa persisting with Phillips at cb and not playing Ali and Clarke in there natural positions i find frustrating.
Cant keep relying on plucking victory from the jaws of defeat.
Credit to Hull.
Hopefully a wake up call in terms ofrecruitment for us.

Yes, a defeat and a poor performance just before the transfer window might not be a bad thing.Cjay wrote: ↑Sat Dec 29, 2018 5:36 pm Just think our lack of individual quality will show at times.

Re: Leeds Utd v Hull City Match Thread
The big concern is that if we are conceding then we don't have enough players to score, especially if the opposition can keep Roofe quiet. Douglas, Ayling and Phillips don't look like scoring and I think PJ has 1 for the season. Forshaw doesn't score goals, Klich has dried up so effectively we are reliant on the 2 wingers, Pablo and Roofe. Alioski's goal threat has disappeared of late as well. You just have to look at how many games where we have dominated possession and even when we were winning it seemed like we were needing 20 chances to get a 1-0 win. Frankly that side of things is abysmal and we really need someone to fill Saiz's shoes, but get the goals that he lacked this year, and allow Pablo to continue with his goal threat from out wide. I don't think we can have a midfield with Phillips and Forshaw together especially with Klich not scoring.Cjay wrote: ↑Sat Dec 29, 2018 5:36 pm Just think our lack of individual quality will show at times.

Every cloud.
And Jarrod Bowen apparently gave us the run around, maybe Orta will convince Radz he is worth a bid.

I didnt see the game, just making general observations from what ive read and the clips ive seen plus my opinion before that.
Klich i just think is knackered, Roofe i dont think is a striker anyway (although he has a good record recently) and Forshaw is approaching O'Kane territory.

Think its a case of keeping Hernandez quiet more than Roofe, if Pablo isnt able to create Roofe wont score he isnt the type of player able to make his own chances.weasel wrote: ↑Sat Dec 29, 2018 6:03 pm The big concern is that if we are conceding then we don't have enough players to score, especially if the opposition can keep Roofe quiet. I think Bielsa is partially responsible, Alioski has thrived on the right (apparently one of our best players today to) he will score goals on the right, Clarke will score from the left but Bielsa keeps switching them which means they can cross the ball more but there ability to shoot is very much limited.
Agree on the midfield, Klich is a goal threat, but now his goals have dried up Forshaw isnt going to take up the mantle and neither will Phillips.
We are far to poor in the final 3rd, the amount of shots we have we should be scoring 2 3 4 a game as you say.
Its been a concern all season really, Bielsa has himself talked about it.
Whats the reason? Perhaps bluntly its quality, better individuals maybe would score more, Perhaps our attackers arent as good as we think, they just get so many chances.
We wont get 20 shots a game all the time.

Re: Leeds Utd v Hull City Match Thread
Well look at Bamford. One chance v Bolton and he burries it. He's the only lethal player we have, we can't afford to leave him on the bench all the time. He plays today, he probably scores 2 or 3.
The lack of goals from the likes of Klich, Alioski, Douglas, Phillips is a concern. Harrison has 1, nowhere near good enough. Not sure where the goals are going to come from.
