Strange game. Very open but we fail to score and Norwich score from a poorly defended free-kick and picking up the loose ball after an unlucky deflection.
After looking very good fro the opening 25 minutes or so, the latter part of the half was very frustrating as we couldn't get our passes in the final third right. Mainly undercutting them to the intended recipient.

Un Marcelo Bielsa, solo hay un Marcelo Bielsa. Gracias Marcello. Marsching on together.

HT 2 - 0, feel sure we’ll see changes. Clarke will be on for Harrison who has been poor. Bielsa may also want to get KP to shield the back 4 a bit better.

I just think Forshaw gets caught up field too much and leaves them acres to break - should leave that to Klich and Roberts and show a bit more discipline, think he tries to do too much.

Wasn’t going to so early but Vodka time now. Disagree with some saying we are shite - we have played them of the park as a team for most of that half, but stupid bloody errors have cost us. Playing one of the best teams in the league it’s unfortunate that Forshaw Ayling and Hernandez are having stinkers ! Mr. Clarke please take the stage !

This really would be the mother of all comebacks if we get out of this one. Harrison was truly awful. We need Clarke on and we need a early goal. If they score next, were done I think.

Whereas Phillips sits too deep inviting the runner to get close...pays you money but apart from losing possession from the nasty Hernandez mis hit pass he's had a decent game ...NorfolkWhite wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 6:25 pm I just think Forshaw gets caught up field too much and leaves them acres to break - should leave that to Klich and Roberts and show a bit more discipline, think he tries to do too much.

We have looked OK upfront but all at sea in defence. Credit them clinical.

Forshaw is a smaller version of Euseless O'Kane with a ginger beard. Tyler Roberts is having a great game. Shame we never get a decent ref. KP n JC are gonna win this for us.

Unless something changes dramatically, there is no way we have 3 goals in us, for the long period we had all the possession we still didn't look like scoring.

We've been the best team by a distance for me, two giveaways from ayling and PJ cost us two goal ...
How good was that Roofe run though, almost Wallace esque

As I said, Norwich are too clever both tactically and technically. Their defence is rock solid and in attack they know what they're doing. Roofe is great up front for us but he just isn't big enough. Feel sorry for Kasella, conceded 3 so far and could do nothing about any of them. Just hope we don't get hammered 2nd half.

DM needs to defend, the gap we had between the back 4 and front 6 was criminal at times. That’s Forshaw’s job.

Re: Leeds Utd v Norwich City Match Thread
Krul should be off, Roofe's brilliant work, perfectly good disallowed goal and a pen ..plus a few other half chances ...we could have had 4 already with any luck

Yeah they do look tasty on the break. Forshaw does nowt to help our defence and they're all over the shop anyway.Mick Jones shoulder wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 6:28 pm We have looked OK upfront but all at sea in defence. Credit them clinical.

That is one thing it hasn’t been this season, they concede for fun.BGwhite wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 6:30 pm As I said, Norwich are too clever both tactically and technically. Exactly the same thing I was saying when Phillips played there earlier in the season..too much room in front of the back 4 allows teams to run into spaceNorfolkWhite wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 6:30 pm DM needs to defend, the gap we had between the back 4 and front 6 was criminal at times.
