On a lighter note, I was once watching a football highlights show here in Oz. They showed the highlights from a match in one of the Asian leagues. In that match a team did put the ball out of play for an injured opponent. The other team tried to return the ball to them from the throw in and accidentally scored. The players (or most of them) decided to let their opponents get a goal back, but they had two foreigners (Russians I think) who obviously didn't get the message who spent a long period desperately blocking all attempts on their goal while their team mates stood by and watched. The goal was eventually scored but not without some effort.

Well I think the issue is all the gamesmanship and injury feigning. How many times do players drop like flies to prevent attacks and then get up a second later? Still a disappointing way to score, but at least we let them score. The ref was shocking, if he is a PL ref, then no wonder they're all poor. Wasn't he the ghost goal ref? Draw was fair result today. But it was good intensity to it.

The ref was a joke all game, technically we were under no obligation to put the ball out but it was right to let them have the goal otherwise we'd never hear the end of it.

Bielsa what a man... Shouting give them the goal.
On the replay I saw nothing wrong with the coming together of Kodja and Cooper
just a hooking of legs and there was nothing wrong with the Klitch goal although
for some obscure reason the Villa players were aggrieved... and the melee that
ensured was completely out of control with the official standing around impotent,
whilst in the technical area it was seething in a fit of blind rage. Blitzkrieg Bop.

If one were to believe in spiritual power then all the angels watching that game
would have conclude that Bielsa has just made a big deposit into the
heavenly bank of moral superiority.

And at Wembley in the final it will be remembered and to Bielsa's credit
all will be be paid back in full. Believe it.
