Just think it gives a better balance, a sharper passing form, not a big issue just a small pet hate.

Smith I doubt would have much issue against White either tbh, we don't really have that sort of cb anymore, I actually think that's why Kiko comes for so much, he knows his teammates are lacking aerially so does as much as he can.

What I don't get is MB bemoans our weakness from set pieces but never tries to fix it, I cant understand why Pascal Struijk isn't getting a chance (unless injured is he I don't know), but Struijk to me looks ideal, great on the ball, dominant in the air, a proper cb.

Is it time for Eddie and Paddy upfront? Think it’s silly expecting Dallas to slot in at CM, hell do a job but why not throw caution to the wi d and see what we can do with two up top? Phillips and Klich will handle midfield, it would be nice for everything to click and put up a score on this lot

Another early night as for the second consecutive Saturday we have a trip to London

Up at 4.30am which is nothing unusual for me of late, leave home at 5.55am

I'm hoping Leeds can build on that win against WBA.

I think its great news that Harris has gone as he always seemed to get them fired up against us and it was like a cup match. Under him they've done well in the FA cup against better teams and showed no respect for reputations.

It will be a battle, but if they're up for a physical contest, and don't get intimidated, then I expect us beating the Wall 2-0.

Bamford is due goals, and I fancy Costa to get on the scoresheet.

The injuries are starting again and that's quite concerning.

Find it strange that Dallas is starting in CM, have said it for a long time, players like him are vital to a successful team, he can pretty much put in a shift anywhere, but it takes time for players to adjust to a position and he’s just starting to look good at full back,

The bench could be stronger too...Dallas' end product has probably been worse than Harrison's despite the plaudits so need him to be creative today. Not sure I like Ayling as captain either, he needs to focus on getting his form back first and I'm not a lover of full/wing back captains.

I think in MB's teams captain is ceremonial though, I don't think he cares who's captain

Going to be quite a different look today. Curious to see how Dallas handles the mid. Was hoping we'd see one of the kids but MB definitely prefers the devil he knows than the guesswork of how the youngsters might respond to the big stage. Can't say I blame him.

Not sure i like this Dallas as a cm, he isnt James Milner and has taken years to find a position that he is better then average in, hope he proves me wrong but as Faaip said his end product has always been iffy.

Thats 2 attacking players with iffy end product.

And felt Ayling with good reason was off the pace vs WBA, feel MB has made us weaker in 3 positions whereas only 2 was forced.

Interesting to see how this pans out.
