You can only beat what's in front of you and today we beat them up bad. A Wolves fan who comes into work will be happy with me after that.
Great allround performance from the lads. The only save that sticks out was the mistake by Meslier which he redeemed himself well. Scintillating going forward again should really have scored more but 5 is acceptable. I thought the back 4 and Phillips set a nice composed tempo and the attacking players used the space to full advantage.

Imperious performance, absolutely splendid. Well done to Alioski for his MOTM, dead chuffed for the little bugger.
Alioski was the one guy I worried about stepping up to the PL - he’s a great talent as well as a great laugh.
Doesnt punish or reward anything its just an analytic tool used by pundits and others to allow them to make comments on the game.

Was that Jenkins first outing on the bench tonight?

3rd, Palace and Burnley too.
Must have missed it, but when did 9 subs become a thing?
Thursday 17th December at the Premier League shareholders’ meeting. Clubs have agreed to increase the number of substitutes allowed on the bench from seven to nine, which was the case for the end of the 2019-20 campaign as well.

Really hope this doesn't end with 5 subs, but sadly the Sky 6 will always get their way in the end.

BBC said Klich went off with an injury, hopefully not too serious, but bound to happen one day. Rest him up v Spurs and give Shackleton a start.
I suspect a blessing in disguise - it's the only way that the odd change will be made to the starting line up, and we need Shackleton's energy against Spurs.
