Unfortunately Arteta's not quite so naïve. While I would broadly agree with the statement, a few of our players are outperforming theirs. Skill ceiling hardly matters when European-level players are performing at mid-table Prem standard. Not to mention that with the likes of Klich and Dallas to name just two, we're really not yet certain how far they will go as they seem to be getting better and better.CHAPELALLMAN wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 10:15 am If Strujik goes DM and Ayling CB with Dallas at RB then we will completely undo the improvements which we have made in recent weeks formation wise, and lose all the attacking momentum which Ayling provides as a FB. We will probably be totally bossed in the middle of the park if we go that way.
This is their take on the match. I can't believe the comment ' We absolutely have better players than them, but so do every other team in the league.' He obviously hasn't seen much of Raphinha so far...

I think Dallas is the most underrated player in the team. He has been a revelation in midfield.mothbanquet wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 11:07 am Unfortunately Arteta's not quite so naïve. I'd go along with that if KP is out. Strujik is just settling in at CB so don't change it. I might have played Pablo if he was fit. I'm not sure that he is though. I'd like to see Shackleton get a bit of a run.

As thought Shack starts for Kalvin though probably Dallas plays the deep role in the 3

Pablo & Gelhardt spotted at the Emirates so those two are definitely in the squad

Huggins on the bench too, possibly the best left wing back at the club

Re: Arsenal v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Jamie Shackleton replaces the injured Kalvin Phillips
Bielsa has indicated that Struijk will play defensive midfield, Luke Ayling will move to the centre of defence whilst Shackelton will play right back.
