Hoping that this is a wrongly heard rumour, but if true, it's very sad. What a terrible past 12 months for our club legends

One of my childhood heroes too. Always loved the way Peter celebrated his goals when he seem to miss his hands clapping with his arms raised in the air :supbo:

It was first reported Peter was very poorly back in 2017 but then it seemed he had made a good recovery.

Really sad news as a kid I always wanted to kick as hard as he did, he definitely had a super power

Very sad news.

Remember first going to ER and sprayed on the old railway bridge wall.(Ithink)

Lorimer puts in the rebound.

Very sad news and fingers crossed for him.

As a kid he was my favourite player. I had a 7 on the back of my shirt and the blue and white #7 sock ties

He's not been well for some time.

Sad and I wish him well but fear it will not be long before we lose another of the Revie legends.

He was the Scottish Raphinha ov his time. I went thru a spell of watching lots of old Docu's on Leeds and it seemed like Lorimer never scored a tap-in. Goals win games and it seemed Peter scored some corkers.

It's a pity that a lot of stuff that happened , like goals etc , weren't all available like the saturation of stuff nowadays .I think he took a free kick v Wolves one time from half way and the shot was so hard the keeper still had to party it rather than catch it , don't think footage exists though . I think it was a game I went to hence the memory .

I remember that free kick as well and I know I didn’t go to the game . I think it was at Molineux but may be wrong . I’m pretty sure it was Phil Parkes in goal for them and he pushed the ball over the bar .

What a player Peter Lorimer was .

Nice little compilation here. If he caught the ball sweet, there was only one outcome.
