What about the first touch from the ball from Casilla?
Different class.

Wow we are 8th.
And Everton are away to City last game.
We could squeak 9th it on GD

Great to see Roberts breaking his duck, hat-trick against WBA will give him 4 for the season.
Berra can now tell his grandchildren he was a PL player, excellent.

In the end the team looked like a patchwork quilt but we still got the job done. Just when you think Roberts had fluffed another opportunity when he probably should have passed to Harrison or Raph he gets a lucky break for a change when the keeper parries Bamfords shot back into his path to coolly side foot in home. You could see how much he wanted that.
A much more dogged second half performance and when we have a player like Raph in so much space he will cause any team problems. Another great win our 10th away from home its been a blinder of a season.

Well, pretty much the same story as last time. They nullified us with their press to begin with but couldn't capitalise and knackered themselves out, leaving us to pick them off in the second half.
Bielsa toying with Hasenhutl by beating him with Kiko, Roberts and a long absent Berra as if to say "Come on Ralph, try."

Thrilled for Berardi. Not only did he get a chance to play, but was part of a side that brought us a second half victory.
Bamford deserved better. Took a beating for his side and should have been awarded a penalty. Glad to see him get the winner.

Top half, fantastic stuff! Who knows maybe even 8th?! Delighted for Berardi, hope Pablo will get a chance on Sunday. Disappointing that Bielsa continues to pick Casilla, but won't give u23s or Shackleton any game time. Glad Roberts got that monkey off his back.
And we win without Kalvin!

Agreed. Even the Sky team didn't pick up on the Struijk substitution i was beginning to think we slipped on a extra man.mothbanquet wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 7:04 pm That we made a perennial Prem team look ordinary despite that is pretty insane.
And credit to Bamford for not going down, if that was Gerrard he would still be rolling now. Why oh why with VAR did the ref not have a look at it. The keeper clearly fouled Bamford and knocked him off balance. Its a pen.

Bamford goes down and it'd be a yellow card for diving!Leeds1000 wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 7:10 pm Agreed. Even the Sky team didn't pick up on the Struijk substitution i was beginning to think we slipped on a extra man.![]()
