Might Bielsa play Phillips to give him match sharpness time, after being out for a while?

Kids and fringe players, we can’t cope with any more injuries to our senior players.

Go for it and play our strongest team. I would rather win something personally than become one of those sides that's frets about PL survival every year. The over 5000 fans who have made the long journey deserve to see us give it a go. It still may not be enough but lets find out.

The Norwich game is crucial and 3 points is a must, so is it wise to risk star players. Does it make better sense to rely more on our youth and fringe players for tonight's match? Giving them a full 90 minutes at the mighty Arsenal will be good experience for them.
Going to miss watching this game as working commitments means a midnight finish for me.

Miss the chance to lift the Cup at Wembley for the sake of 3 points at Norwich. Give over. That's what the PL does to people.Broad Ford wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 5:22 pm The Norwich game is crucial and 3 points is a must, so is it wise to risk star players. Are we realistically going to beat Citeh's b side in the final? No. God isn't football boring these days.

Kalvin starts, as does Drameh & Forshaw.
Gelhardt, Cresswell, Summerville, Greenwood on the bench.
Starting XI: Meslier, Drameh, Llorente, Struijk, Dallas (c), Phillips, Forshaw, Roberts, James, Harrison, Rodrigo.
Substitutes: Klaesson, Cooper, Gelhardt, Hjelde, Cresswell, Summerville, McKinstry, Greenwood and Klich.

For some strange reason KP wasn't fit to start 3 days ago but now he is fine
Forshaw starts with Roberts and the underperformed James and Harrison (who we know has a rib injury).
Joffy and Jimmy robbed

James, Roberts and Harrison over Joffy and Jimmy is wrong.
If Marcelo picked on merit not pecking order then 2 of those 3 aren't starting.
Disappointed

KP, Forshaw and Roberts as a midfield trio.
Hope to be wrong but I can see cries of "no creativity"at half time

Llorente & Struijk, our best CB combination last season together, for the first time this season.
Phillips & Forshaw too.
I hope Kalvin & Diego, our two most important players, sail through this game without occurring an injury.

Yes, I'll be interested to see how he does. Hopefully another one who shows he's good enough yo make the step up.
