They bossed us a bit the first 15, but from then on we were clearly the better side.

Roberts, Raphinha, Kalvin, all playing very well.

Better as the half wore on, dominating by the end with Brentford offering little resistance.

Some good from Roberts, the goal was a good finish and a lovely cross later on which deserved better, plus a decnet shot (although he should have played Raph in tbh). Some bad, kicking the balls straight out of play and a shot going out for a throw is always embarrassing, but better tbf.

Not entirely sure whose playing where.

Steady enough that. Brentford started ok and then we dominated for a large part of that first half without really creating much. No point lobbing the ball into the box in the air keep it low just like Raph did for the goal. Roberts started and finished the move he's been excellent in that first half, even his booking was unjust as someone knocked him off balance.

I was a disappointed not to see big Charlie come on as a like for like instead of all the switching about again. Harrison didn't seem to know where he was going to be playing when he ran on the pitch. See how we go second half.
