Howe now has us pressing and attacking.

You're missing two key player's Kalvin and Patrick.

You won against West ham without those player's, we didn't have Saint max and ended up drawing.

Keep the head up 👍.
Spot on Bongo. Takes someone outside the tent to give some perspective.

Who do you replace Bielsa with to park the bus?

- Bruce?
- Dyche?
- Fat Sam?

We just got beaten by the most expensive team ever constructed, whilst missing our captain, top scorer and most influential player.

All I've ever asked of any team in the white shirt is to give it their all. With the added bonus of exciting football, I'm still a HAPPY BIELSA CLAPPER.

A team who have had points taken off them by Burnley, Newcastle, Watford, Everton and Villa this season and needed a penalty to beat Norwich.

Let's not kid ourselves.

They are a shadow of teams of the past and nothing special by any means.

This is the way he plays, the often quoted phrase on this forum that “He has been tactically found out’ is a complete misnomer. There is nothing to find out. This is the way he plays - other managers just have to combat it. Our problem is that the team is just not as good as a unit, as it was last season. There are many reasons for that, but CJAY called it pre-season regarding not strengthening in the right areas.
Add to that the injuries and that lack of depth has led to a perfect storm for this brand of football unravelling on too many occasions.
I still do not think we will be relegated and on balance, despite the hair loss, shredded nerves and having no finger nails I would still prefer to watch a Bielsa Leeds than a turgid percentage affair. Yeah we might be better off by a couple of points but with this squad we would still be struggling.
He's all about 3-3-1-3. Has been his whole managerial career. Funny how no other clubs in the PL use this formation given that the PL has some of the best managers in the world.

I never thought we would ever get rid of Ashley but we did 👍.
I don't mean to be rude, but you're delusional if you believe that. None of those things are happening.

They were saying Everton are a brilliant team last week too. It's sad we have so many fans willing to appreciate and accept mediocrity.

My team just spent £90mil in January I'll be happy if we stay up 😂👍.

Which I believe Newcastle will I also believe Leeds United will also be a premier league club next season 👍.

In fact I'll bet anyone on this forum that disagrees with me, are you Conceding a lot of goals yes, but you have to analysis all aspects you can't be bias, ilan had a decent save with Ronaldo tap in, but both goals he was poor in first half, Bielsa can't be blamed for that?

but what gives me confidence you will stay up, you're still creating chances without Bamford, Cooper, Philips.

That's like ripping Saint max, Tripper, and Wilson and Wood out of Newcastle, we would struggle big time!!

Get them back and you are a different team.

The January transfer window was disappointing- I think turning down the option of VDB on loan was a huge mistake. I expected us to make a loan signing, was not surprised we didn’t buy. The lack of a signing or two could bite us on the arse. But it is Bielsa’s call and he will ultimately be judged on his decision making. There is no escaping injuries have played a part. BUT he has had the option to do something about it and chose not to.
After 10 games I believed we would flirt with relegation all season. Nothing has changed as we are not consistent enough. I still believe we are better than 4 or 5 other teams so whilst relegation is a possibility I consider it a remote one.

Talented individuals, not a good team.

Burnley got a draw just the other week.

A dire Everton side got points off them.

Even you got points off them!!! Newcastle.

They aren't a good team, there fans say as much.

Problem is we set up to go man for man, that plays totally into the hands of a team with a far better collection of men.

Everton have been in the Premier league how long? Have big spending power?

They aren't a s**t team, I loved Rafa at the toon he got us as a fan base 👍 like Bielsa does with you.

When he left I was gutted, he wanted to invest in team and improve academy and training facilities, that fat cockney twat had to have it all his own way.

Rafa was never going to be accepted at Everton no matter what he done,

Lampard has them more attacking and playing higher with a press, they have good midfield ball winners in Allan, etc they aren't any mugs as a team.

Been a bit ignored but Bielsa dropped Raphinha today.

Bongo how would you react if Eddie Howe dropped Saint-Maximin ? Not injured just dropped.

Frank the genius won't have had an easier game than he got last week. No surprises they lost to Southampton yesterday.

Redknapp on Llorente ;

“This is their first goal from a corner in 139 attempts so they’re doing a lap of honour around there at the moment,” said Redknapp on Sky Sports Premier League at half-time on Sunday.

“If you’re going to score a goal from a set-piece against any team, you just always think it’ll be Leeds.

“Llorente ends up not watching the ball, it’s poor defending.

“Look at him, his positional sense is all wrong, he tries to get a grip of Harry Maguire to try and compete with him.

“He doesn’t even jump to win it but it’s a good header from Harry’s point of view.”

I agree but that same system got 9th I really think you have been unlucky with injuries playing a massive part of you're season, when you stay up you can't make the same mistakes, you have to sign quality player's and have better squad depth.

Going with a smaller squad has cost you as a team but you won't go down.

You also have to remember this will be you're second year in the prem 👍.

It's a very hard league.

Keep positive I've had many bad years with the toon but we are staying up and you will too.

That second half fighting spirit showed me you have more than enough too stay up 👍.

Stay up this season and build in summer 👍.
