It is indeed as are the surrounding pretty rural areas & further down the coast. We are staying in a lovely apartment overlooking the sea. I'm people watching from our cosy flat as the few hardy souls are almost taking off with the wind & sleet blowing everywhere whilst we are eating the best & most filling Eccles cake from the local bakery :-D

Three points today and the pressure starts to ease. Would be very Leeds to capitulate today though.

Southampton are rather like us - you can never be certain whether they will turn up. Again like us when they are on it they are hard to beat. Therefore this is one of the most unpredictable games we will have at home all season. We could get trounced or we could do the trouncing.
I cannot see it being boring that is for certain.

Afternoon all. Starting lineup we would probably expect, nice to see cooper back in there hopefully the defence will look more organised today. I would have started Philips today daft not to when he is fit, he needs to at least come on for a decent amount of time, not gonna get match fit if you don’t play him.

Rather concerned by that line up. The persistence with James in the 9 role is baffling. Unless Gelhardt is carrying a knock. As usual (WOlves aside) we will need to score first to win. At least he will keep the back line busy as his -reading and energy is very impressive.
Would have preferred our strongest options (KP) playing from the start. Just hope we are not chasing the game when they come on.

Now then, this should show us what Jesse's all about huh?...... 2 weeks with all the boyz, get his fantastic style of play across to em and rip Saints apart.

Watching live ont tele at home, laptop at the ready for some super live updates pluses n minuses, myself ? I'm expecting loads of minuses, but would love to be proved wrong.

Decent teams out for both sides, home advantage, 35k adoring fans, nowt worry bart, get in and we're going 10pts clear of Watford.

4 games he's had..
Leicester - Out of form, 1st game, nowt write home about.
Villa - Fcking trounced.
Norwich - clung on against worst in't league.
Wolves - slapped until hand of God.

Now for a decent test again, in a game we should win.

I'm afraid that playing narrow plays into the hands of players like walker-peters .

Everytime Llorente takes about 5 touches and gets himself into trouble. Going to cost us here if he doesn't start to release the ball earlier
