Missed this one because of work. After learning of Liverpools win I felt safe staking Man City for the away win.

It wasn't long ago when I discussed with a working colleague that Leeds were safe, because it was highly unlikely that Burnley would win all their games in hand. Well, with egg now on my face and also a hat to eat, Leeds are now at the mercy of fat fwank, Everton and those two games in hand.

It now looks like Leeds will be travelling to Brentford needing a result where Pontus will be waiting with his magic hat. It's a winnable fixture, but why leave everything right to the final quarter before you really need to pull your socks up and begin accumulating points? I still think Leeds will survive, but it's going to be close and on the final day.
If you don't know where you are going, every road will get you nowhere.

The game was never a 0-4, we didn't deserve that scoreline.

We put in plenty of endeavour & fight against the best team in Europe

Citeh are strong in every position from their No.1 to the last man on their bench, we are vulnerable in every position.

Citeh are clinical in front of goal, whereas we struggle to hit the target.

Citeh are sound at the back, it's mad panic for our lads, not their fault as they are out of their depth thanks to Radz & Co.

We are a 100 miles behind the likes of Citeh & Liverpool, it will be tenfold that figure when we are back in the championship.

The fight is there but not much else. Time and again we chose the wrong pass in the final third , that's when we bothered to pass at all (Rodrigo) . Losing coops and Dallas is a major blow . Brighton & Brentford it is then, if we're still in it by then of course.

Just watched MOTD. The first goal was a great pace flat delivery, whilst it should have been defended better by KP it is fairly excusable for him as our CB’s were nowhere near the flight of the ball either.

The second goal was just shocking from Klich. He has to be stronger and want to win that ball. He is in front of Laporte and is the clear favourite but he is made to look like a mug. No desire whatsoever, puts his head down afterwards as if to say oh well I did my best. This is what happens when we lose Coopers leadership. Someone on that pitch has to get a grip of players who just give in. In a relegation battle you play like Dallas - You give it everything for 90 mins. Huge loss for us.
If Everton get a result today they will build momentum and they have bags of quality in that squad to call upon. We did not expect to get anything out of the city game but we need something from Arsenal and Chelsea as I expect Everton will get at least a point today.
If Marsch plays Firpo against Saka who for me right now is only 2nd to Salah in the Prem in that position we will get rinsed again.
We need desire and players who can display quality when we are up against it not when things are going well. Rodrigo and Harrison need to make way for James and Gelhardt. Hjelde if fit should be the LB.

We ain't getting owt from Chelsea and arsenal and the way Brighton are playing at best maybe just maybe a point. Last game at brentford it will be their cup final their world cup. Could it all boil down to that last game of the season?

I've also woke up this morning trying to understand where all the competitiveness and desire had come from from the very 1st minute.

I hope it was from Jesse, but there's definitely a case to be made from the lads getting together and the captain saying..

' look lads we're gonna look like absolute twats if we get trounced here and we got rid of Bert (that's mainly aimed at Rod)...we can't afford to lose big, i want 110% effort from the 1st to the last minute, keep that fcking scoreline down'

They did that.

And we got trounced.

And i'm not trying to pick a fight here, it's a fact, we were quite good in areas and moments, and they give it their all...
but the fact remains, we were never gonna win that game and for all our effort we got beat 0-4, a fairer score if 'ALL' the chances go in...2-8...3-7 ?

But !...The big Jesse has shown a string to his bow that i quite like, like Bert he'll need money, fit players, time and 'luck'...and to please most here, do 'it' all in 1 season.

Without a doubt it will and I very much expect a defeat due to the pressure and Brentford will be nice and relaxed. PJ will play out of his skin and probably pop a header in just to rub salt in our gaping wounds.

What are the odds that Jansson will score a header from a set piece in the 90th minute to relegate us ?

If that happens it would bloody well serve us right for selling him - another black mark against Bielsa.

4pts from the 2 B’s and we’re safe. That’s all 8-)
Everton won’t get 9 if we do the above.

See we're off again, provocation.

When will it end ?

Ok i'll refer to Bert as you wish.

We need Bert's expertise to reach the level of the top 4 and to keep KP, Raph, Bamford (?) Meslier(?) and some gazillions.

And get shut of the clown that's stealing a living, dya wanna carry on ?

Why dya think Jansson, wouldn't get into the top 6 sides and get in Bert's team ?

Go on DDB, tell me and i'll answer it, if you mean literally i'll re phrase it.

Jansson would not get into a Citeh, Liverpool, Chelski, Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham first team and he would not get in Bert's preferred team.
