Last season i thought we were on teams like Arsenal's coattails. That was so easy for them it was equivalent to a training drill. Even Phillips now looks a below average player. The heads have gone (Raph & Ayling, Klich Meslier) a warm arm around them from JM should do the trick.

Pontus could be our only salvation to score an own goal. We don't look like scoring again this season. Come on Jesse the fingers are starting to wag despite your young kid just starting school.

Marsh before Villa: "We have a plan for Countinho"
Marsh before Arsenal: We know how they play, we have a plan"
Marsch OUT

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

It's plainly obvious Marsch knows Klich doesn't suit the style but he has no choice aside from throwing in Bate.

It isn't Marsch's fault that Orta, Bielsa, Radz and Kinnear neglected the midfield for years

In fairness he couldn't legislate for what Meslier did and then the players heads going

Not absolving him of blame but it isn't all his fault at all.

Get Cresswell, Shackleton and Gray in the starting line-up next game. Don't want to watch these overpaid flops anymore. If they can't fight for £48m, then they're obviously overpaid.

Yeah I agree. Imagine getting away with it this year. We'd set some world records for being s**t next season with the current set up

Don't think bielsa would have kept us up tbh... Given the results Everton and burnley have had, our poor results under him left us with too much the climb unless he could somehow have brought back our form from the end of last season

Well that's also on bielsa for building such a poor quality squad then despite us spending a lot

Apparently that’s ancient history and you’re not supposed to mention it.
