Watched the highlights last night. Geo’s goal was unreal. Hope there’s more where that came from this season.

The home kit is growing on me.

Some key points from the game

Georginio a joy to watch, a delightful goal & my man of the match.

Joseph all round game, execution of his goal, holding up the ball, movement & leading the line superbly.

Gruev making more forward runs.

Ampadu's energy & lovely passes back in the midfield.

Gnonto falling over in the back of the net whilst celebrating Georginio's goal.

Rodon & struijk defensively sound against Valencia's two big frontmen.

Valencia, an overly physical side, committing many fouls on & off the ball. How their No.9 didn't suffer the same fate as Mir, god only knows. I loved Ampadu taunting Mir as he received the red card & when he was walking off.

Sublime goal, Joe.

Happy LUFC reverting back to original traditional kits, thankfully we've ditched the horrible unfamiliar colours.

I’m the same with the home kit Joe and from watching the match there were loads of the yellow away shirts as well. Has anyone seen our 3rd kit yet ??

Think we only know the colors, Cussie. Although there was an image that was said to be a counterfeit.

Having seen both home and away shirts on Saturday up close i think both of them look really good. Im split between the 2 of them as im not keen on round neck shirts, prefer football shirts with a collar, but despite that, the home shirt for me looks slightly better imho.

Well, except for that little bit of “unfamiliar red” on the home shirt. Haha! But truthfully, it’s not too bad from far away (spectator/television viewing position). I suspect that is why it was decided to have it included.

Putting myself in the sponsor’s shoes, it probably would’ve been invisible to most viewers had it been in blue. And on the away kit, I would’ve gone with the RedBull name in blue as I don’t think the all blue logo is helping them from a recognition standpoint. My two cents from trying to gauge things from the sponsor’s standpoint.

I really like the look of what we have. Hope we keep what we have now because it looks great.

Joseph could be a bright spark to emerge this season

Rutter looks like he'll be even better. Should add a few more goals

The defensive core of Rodon-Strujik-Ampadu is immense

Gruev getting forward more is promising. And now we have Rothwell if we need a bit more incisiveness

Wober, Aaronson, and Piroe on the bench - would walk into any other championship side

The only flaw is a bit more depth (2 or 3) on the bench. But otherwise, I think things look exciting

No matter what colour the logo could have been on the home shirts, Red Bull was very prominent with a blue background on the advertising boards anyway so there’s no getting away from it at ER.
