0-0... Manure made a mess of cleaner chances, we hit the target with our trickier ones ..

We could have won it 2-0. We could have lost it 4-0. Good workout though, we don’t look like easybeats, that’s for sure.

Didn’t look bad today, if we can get a quality forward (style) player we could compete this season.

Nice to see everyone get some minutes. That is about it, I certainly won’t draw any conclusions about individual performances. Pre season at this stage is about fitness and getting match sharpness

Good runout for the lads, and I think we played pretty well considering the changes and the new players - defo need to be bringing in more upfront which I’m guessing is where the attention will now be turned

Positive start.

New players look prem ready and most of the old guard look ready as well.

Bogle looked mint as does Tanaka and a raft of others.

Gk (I'm not fooled by mesliers great saves today), Striker and a creative attacking midfielder are a must at a minimum to really be competitive. Also a LW and someone who like Byram can play lb/rb in case of injuries.

A lot of work to do but very positive against a strong manu side on paper. Now..... They did finish 17th so what that says about the strength of the league is the big question. Looks like an even tougher league than last time. But...... Their only real threat came when we put on 4 youngsters in the last 15. Really positive.

Really hope we get some attacking players in with time for some friendlies think that will make a big difference.

Mes looked happy flappy when that cross came in where they hit the bar.

My hope was that in Farke bringing in so many tall players it may have afforded him some protection there.

I suppose we will see but yes an upgrade in those two positions would be great.

We looked vulnerable with the four kids on in the final ten minutes.

Pascal still making a couple of dopey errors.

It was Chambers, young Sam looked out of his depth.
