Many have said and I tend to agree that Archie whist a brilliant prospect wasn't necessarily what we needed this season. Also if I remember correctly he started last season in midfield alongside Ampedu and our results/performances were average at that time. Guess what I'm saying is we haven't missed him.
We will never know what we have missed mate tbh. The reality is he is a cracking player who is only going to get better and this is proven by his ability to effectively fill in anywhere for Spurs across the back and still play at a decent standard for his age in a struggling team playing at a higher level.

I think that says it all.
True and would have been brilliant to have kept Archie for another 10/15 years however I’m still of the opinion that cashing in was the right decision. An unpalatable one but the correct one for where we were last summer.

Archie isn’t a RB, the chances are we would have still signed Bogle. The player we are unlikely to have got in is Rothwell as Archiewould have been able to play in his preferred position. There is no positive to be had from losing Archie except from a PSR perspective. He has been one of the best players for Spurs this season in the PREM. Not sure what your self congratulatory point is ?

Probably more likely that we wouldn't have signed Tanaka if we had kept Gray. The Rothwell deal was a no brainer, year's loan for a player who knows the division.
We had tried to sign him the previous season. So he was clearly a recruitment target.

Yes but we signed Rothwell before we signed Tanaka. I think we were not entirely convinced by Tanka, hence not signing him last year and only signing him late this season. Rothwell was signed early as he was less of a risk. Hence why I feel we would have signed Rothwell regardless of Gray leaving but might not have signed Tanaka if Gray had stayed.

I've pretended to support a team that's been crap for most of my life as part of a long term plan

31 pages on Watford vs Leeds
That's over twice as many pages than our match day thread.
We just don’t have as much to worry about, Leon
They are trying to figure out how to reach the top flight without navigating the playoffs and have us, in form and on the road, as their next fixture. The number of posts makes sense to me.

No we don't Joe.
Also, there are more topics on our respective clubs than theirs.
If we beat them next Monday evening, I think we can safely say it's any two from three!

Or it's a more active forum ?

That's why I put James (2 brilliant finishes) as MOTM with Aaronson second.
Aaronson is still underrated by some but for me he's been outstanding all season.
Brenden has only missed our cup games & played limited minutes vs Portsmouth (h) & West Brom (a) and look how poor we were in those games, precious little pressing/energy without him.
Aaronson gained us a point & should have won us all three points in a game we were all over the place vs Pompey.
Anyone who can't see what Aaronson gives us, needs to go watch another sport.

We didn’t sign him because his club were not willing to do a deal. It matters not when he came as the reason for his delay could have a multitude of reasons. The indisputable fact is that he was a long term transfer target.
You are clutching at straws trying to provide possibilities that have no factual element beyond your imagination.
