Excellent. Well done Farke as well.

3-0, no obvious injuries, a good run out for our bench, confidence restored, 1st quarter final in 20+ years. If Carlsberg did …………..

Away to Arsenal or Home to Port Vale.
Could hardly be a bigger difference

Professional in the end.

All be it Norwich had a threat 2nd half.

Stach made a decent cameo.

Lovely finish from JP and passing from Nmecha and Gnonto.

Bijol was immense and Tanaka controlled the midfield

Good performance.

And have to say I prefer Nmecha to DCL, has more about him imo.

And Piroe is still the best technical striker we have 😁

Guds clear motm.

James imo biggest disappointment

Not sure James is fully fit tbh. He certainly doesn't seem to have the confidence to take on defenders and though he has put over one or two decent crosses in the last couple of games he certainly isn't showing the consistency of last season. We really could do with him upping his game to give us options on the wings as we head into the business end of the season.

I thought Tanaka didn't really take his opportunity to impress.

Dan James isn't going to trouble many PL defences as things stand.

Nmecha obviously loved the freedom offered by lower league opponents and had a smile on his face all day, well done him. For me, he's the natural choice to start alongside DCL, with Okafor coming on after 60 minutes.

And great to see Joel doing his thing, great finisher with half a second's space.

Great performance
But despite the 3 goals - finishing at times was poor - could really cost us against a PL side

PS why is Tanaka not played more, not a secret that our performances dropped off the less and less that he was played

Lets build from this, a cup run is a bonus, but WINS (not draws not hard luck stories) in the PL is what really matters

I know 😅

I hope he's won the rest of you over?

I never doubted him 😂

He's got more intelligence and better movement and technique than DCL.

Only area DCL has him beat is physically.

According to Adam Pope DCL has a knee issue and Rodon not risked because of his hamstring issue.

Dan James was clattered at the beginning of the second half and tried to run it off. Unfortunately went off due to the knock.
Thought he was good in the first half, we look a lot more threatening with him in the team and firing.

On the train back now. 😁 Buzzing, all in all a great day. Only one win from Wembley now, definitely need to go all out in the quarters. Great to see Piroe finally break his duck and Longstaff turning into Prime Ronaldinho with his goal.

We had a look for you in the North Stand mate, but didn’t know which one you were out of the thousands in there.
