Lack of rotation with midweek games probably doesn't help. But what time are we getting to the games? I presume yesterday would've been Friday night due to the distance.

Also our fans are not up to 12.30 kick-offs, these times kills our atmosphere too.

The players are lacklustre, the fans are lacklustre and even Farke looked lacklustre yesterday.

This needs addressing or it might scupper our season.

Seem to remember an ex pro saying the early KO's were the worst as it throws everything out of kilter. For example he'd eat chicken as his pre match meal 4 hours before KO but didn't want to eat chicken at 8-30am so it all had to change.

Earlier subs than the 80th min as per usual. Gelhardt, Byram, I felt Crew should've been given a run out at some point in case he's needed. He's due to have his purple patch next month, so I'd get Bamfraud up to speed too.

Seem to remember an ex pro saying the early KO's were the worst as it throws everything out of kilter. For example he'd eat chicken as his pre match meal 4 hours before KO but didn't want to eat chicken at 8-30am so it all had to change.

Personally, our routines are basically the same, late to bed or eating different foods at the wrong times, upsets the apple cart.

So understandable for footballers habits.

The trouble is who do you rotate given who we have out injured. Gk, not really any fitness issues to consider there. Full backs and the only option would have been Schmidt instead of Byram on the left but hardly like Byram wouldn't be fresh - so the only option there would have been to start Scmidt on the left and Byram on the right but then that is a lot of disruption. CBs well probably not really the time yet to be thinking of throwing Debayo into the starting line up. Central midfields and again do we want to throw Crew in at this point cos he is the only alternative. Wingers and so it is 2 from Gnonto, James and Soloman and the 2 picked look to be the fittest at present. You could jig things around Aaronsen to a wing etc but again that is a lot of disruption. The only real area where there would be optons for change are at 10 and 9 where we could go Piroe at 10, Bamford or Joseph at 9. Or Gelhardt 10 etc.

The only player that I think would maybe benefit from a rest would be Aaronsen just because of the amount he has played.

Does that explain the lack of atmosphere yesterday and 12.30 ko’s in general?
It could also have been the 3 mile from the pitch camera but there was virtually no atmosphere at Ashton Gate.

Creativity still concerns me.

Aaronson, Tanaka and Rothwell yesterday were offensively largely ineffective (bar one pass from Tanaka)

Far too much caution, sideways and backwards passes and poor positioning (Aaronson was taking up some very odd positions).

Aaronson, Tanaka and Rothwell only made 13 passes into the final 3rd between them (attacking passes basically).

Bogle and Byram made 17.

I hope it was a one off and Farke hasn't coached the bravery out of Rothwell and Tanaka already.

As for Aaronson you can only get so far running around and working hard.

What Farke did was give him confidence, show faith etc.

But don't think he made him a better player, he still had the same issues he had in Germany.

Brighton manager is though, he takes fewer risks, doesn't drop so deep into areas where he could lose the ball, and he is taking better care with his pass.

Is it possible that Rutter is surrounded (in theory) by better quality players and therefore looks better. Of course he is up against better quality but some players usually those with touch of class improve when they do. Rutter was likely to be that type.
