What makes it likely? Has Grayson said he is coming? (I may have missed this)Dr.Leeds wrote:Hopefully the likely arrival of Danny Pugh next week

Castles is usually pretty well informed.

Been saying it all season Joe but Larry has persisted in playing an average Scottish footballer & a has been defender in preference to Brombyjoelufc20 wrote:Good result discipline is worrying , great to see aidy White having a good game. Bromby has to start

Re: Bristol City Match Thread
Once again I got my full £20's worth today. You really never know whats going to happen when you go down Elland Road way these days. No nailed on 3 pointers anymore, no, we can almost make poor opposition look good.
A great start, loads of chances created down our right, only one converted and we all know what happens next.
Why Grayson persists with Nunez is baffling and worrying, what does he see that we all don't?
Our 2 centre backs were truly awful. Kisnorbo is simply not good enough at this level, and O'Dea is pushing hard to be the worst center back since Roy Ellam. I really hope Grayson sees the opporunity with Kisnorbo banned to play Lees in his proper position alongside Bromby. IMO, Bromby is the best of a bad bunch of available centre backs, so what the hell. We desperately need a dominant centre back who can organise, lead, tackle and distribute the ball where it needs to go. Until we do, we'll never get out of this division.
Until the winning goal, James never had a save to make in the 2nd half.
That said, we showed great spirit to win the game with only 10 men, and Ipswich result apart, we've put a reasonable run together.
I do fear for us on Tuesday, mind.

People are gonna get their way now. Bromby will come in for Kisnorbo... lets see if he does any better.
Once again we wont be able to pick the same back 4 two weeks in a row. grrrrrr

Re: Bristol City Match Thread
alot of it is to do with tactics though as i watched inter on sunday and Zanetti, lucio and samuel got slkaughtered due to no cover from the midfield as these are all world class.

We clearly watch different games.
I'm not Snoddy's biggest fan but you have started to do a job on him of late. He always looks knackered - that's just the way he is. He has 2 sometimes 3 men on him every time he gets the ball. Despite everything else he continues to create chances, more chances than any other Leeds player surely.
Nunez though - what's that all about. A passenger again today.

Right on both counts, Snoddy has been singled out and marked accordingly, Nunez is a waste of a shirt, if the last two games are anything to go by.white.riot wrote: He has 2 sometimes 3 men on him every time he gets the ball.

Re: Bristol City Match Thread
I try and watch the extended LUTV highlights each week to get some sense of what's going on, and Snoddy always looks like he's working hard to me... he's just a slow dude. He always managed to have a positive impact on the game at some point, and always works hard in defence...
so if he's defending like a winger should and creating a couple of chances a game.... what more can he do?
Once again everybody is picking a the bones and being negative.
I'm happy that Keogh got moved to the wing later in the game coz it means Grayson is atleast considering it as an option, because i'm convinced it will work once Becchio is starting again... different story if Pugh comes in though...
We've won 2 on the bounce now and played CRAP!! imagine what will happen when we pull it all together and actually play well?!
And if you're all correct about Kisnorbo then his sending off might be a blessing in disguise... your messiah Leigh the Bromb-bomber will no doubt get his shot now..

Are you sure - I've just fallen out with CSA over who's the most positive
We weren't great today but we were a cut above City but fluffed our chances. Keogh was tosh when he went wide by the way. 4 in midfield and no great action from Leeds between the 3 lines of players [442] was the real problem.

Isn't castles about as accurate as BJ from 20 yards
