I feel sorry for our travelling fans, several friends at the game have texted me how disappointed they are. It's a long journey home for our loyal supporters.

Those players have created the doom & gloom tag after what was a woeful display, it's up to them to show professionalism over our final ten games, if not, we can look forward to playing Fwank's Coventry once again. :(
I feel for the fans as well Leon :( when I saw all of them in the ground. Maybe our players should pay for the fans travel, hotel and ticket!

Yes, Firpo, Bogle, Aaronson & Tanaka made suicidal passes in our own half in the first 15 minutes or so, a representation of what was to follow throughout the 90 minutes.

Burnley. Just a week ago they were 14/1 for the title, now they are 15/2.

Leeds need maximum points against Millwall unless WBA can spoil Burnley's hopes on Tuesday. Sheff Utd will likely be in 1st place on Tuesday, so Leeds need to return to winning ways or they'll be relying on that 21st April fixture to go their way. Would both conspire for a bore draw?

Just when we thought we were done and dusted we now have strikers missing chances and the chasing pack intent on dumping DF into the playoff lottery. 🙄

FIRPO is the best center forward we have.

Mindless comment imo. Todays defeat down to lack of recruitment in January. Complete nonsense of course.
You’d expect Piroe to take 1 of his chances. The first definitely. You’d expect any competent ref to give the pen. Maybe Firpo should score. Then their goal is a gift.
Portsmouth the better side. No they weren’t.
We were pretty average but definitely deserved a point. Fortunate win for them.

God knows what sort of state we'd be in with that so fair play
Our cup games vs Boro, Harrogate & Millwall showed the state we'd be in. :(

I'll reiterate, we didn't do our homework.

The evidence was there to be seen, if Farke had watched Pompey's recent games.

Without any shadow of doubt, that was Tanaka's worst game in a Leeds shirt.

We'll get rinsed in the PL.

At least we wouldn't endure so many defeats if we remained in the championship.

We probably win the game if the penalty was awarded.

Very likely. The ref was abysmal. The challenge on Mes was nasty & intentional for me. But no card. Unbelievable

We were unfortunate with the pen and misses but think Portsmouth do deserve credit.

They pressed and clearly identified a weakness down our right where they scored from.

They'd got down that side before that a good few times and Rodon had saved us on a few occasions.

An injury ravaged side with 9 players out they played admirably imo.

On another day we get a pen and Piroe scores.

But Portsmouth were brave and deserve credit for that.

Many teams with that many injuries or even half those injuries would have barely crossed the half way line.

It's interesting we think of our Achilles' heel as being teams that park the bus.

But actually teams that go at us tend to be the ones that really concern us.

Not necessarily with the ball but aggressive off the ball.

It's the ones that sit back we tend to grind down.

Pen decision is a game changer though.
Doesn’t happen in the PL. Ref is pointed to the monitor.
Credit to them but if you say they fully deserved the win then I’d disagree.
I wonder if Piroe’s first effort affects him on the second. Unlike him as I fully expect him to dink it over the keeper.
Wednesday will be very interesting to say the least.

Wouldn't say fully deserved the win but we didn't either.

I was shocked Piroe missed, it really isn't like him, they are probably the only 2 sitters he's missed since he came.

He shown himself to be exceptionally cool in those situations, even taking touches and things in situations most strikers would blast it.

It was a proper Bamford performance from him because he did everything else really well apart from the bit he's usually brilliant at ironically.

Millwall definitely isn't ideal given our struggles with them earlier thus season and Farke and his issues vs Alex Neil

Combine with we could be 3rd by them the ground will be nervous.

Strange game. We were below par all over. I do not like the Gruev / Firpo combo. I can add Solomon to that as well. Gruev and Solomon go off, Rothwell comes on and Firpo comes to life. He is beginning, as others have mentioned to be a very important attacking threat right now.
