The only conclusion I can come to for the Mes “crossbar” incident is he was saying to himself “whatever you do DO NOT let that ball bounce off the bar back in to play. DO NOT DO THAT WHATEVER YOU DO MES MY SON”.
Of course we’ve all been there. I’ve often thought whilst using a lump hammer “DO NOT hit your thumb Jaydog whatever you do dont do that” and then blow me down I do it. Splat. 🖐️ 🔨
I believe its called cognitive dissonance.

Ampadu by a country mile!

I'm surprised some thought Amps had a poor game. MOTM for me!

27 - Very good/good pieces of play.

9 - Forward passes into the Hull half.

6 - Interceptions.
One of them when he intercepts the ball in the middle, runs towards their edge of the Hull box, laying off a pass to Soloman whose shot was well saved by Pandur.

4 - Blocks.
Three of them essential blocks to stop shots on our goal in the final twenty minutes.

4 - Defensive headers.

2 - Tackles.

2 - Defensive clearances

Rodon on the other hand

15 decent pieces of play, however.....

Unusually, ten poor errors from our No.6.
