Could spin that argument on its head by saying the the average standard is higher (Leeds and Sunderland dragging it up for example) and it’s more difficult to win points against the below average teams.

Delighted for Okofor but no goals or assists in 16 games isn’t great, he’s been widely derided on here and has much to do yet to suggest he was a good buy. DCL I’ve been behind all the way and he’s been a great signing. Bogle id not give to the current recruitment team. If you add Longstaff, Perri and Okafor together it’s what 50 million? You might consider that to be money well spent whereas I think they represent bad value with low resale potential - so whilst I’d not say the recruitment team are crap, they are green and need to do better.

These days I buy around the £100+ mark and use a small tasting glass. That way a bottle lasts me months whereas a supermarket bottle can vanish in 3-4 days, it’s much more economical and better for my health too.
We have a fabulous independent whisky merchant in nearby Ayr, those guys know what they are talking about and get to know your tastes, often making suggestions. If you don’t like the ones they suggest they will offer a full money credit to your next purchase. I’ve never yet had to resort to that.

I know the Greek owner is liable to do anything but a new manager when Dyche got them clear of the relegation zone would be a radical move.

The championship was so easy last year it was a cakewalk for Leeds to win the title, they had no opposition at all.

I would say it is, it's only really Fulham, and maybe Brentford, who have improved since last season. WH, Forest, Wolves, Palace, Brighton, Newcastle, Liverpool, Bournemouth are all worse. Arsenal aren't that great, it's more Citeh have regressed, similar to Liverpool winning the league last season. A poor Manure team are in the top 4.
The promoted teams are stronger, but it's cause there isn't as big a gap this time around. PSR restraints have certainly helped.
