I knew you had got a new camera 64, but what model is it ? DSLR type or point and shoot type ?

It's a bridge camera which falls slightly below a DSLR one.

last season 2023/24 after 27 games Liverpool were top with 63 points and +39 GD
this season 2024/25 after 27 games Liverpool are top with 64 points and +38 GD
Yes, Citeh's drop-off must have helped Slot's Liverpool.

Looking forward to the challenge, mate.

Never enjoy watching Leeds losing though. I suppose we'll have to get used to defeats, once again.

What is their secret that they have not been yoyo clubs... I think there has to be a more nuanced explanation than just playing style as the reason for their survival.
I would like to know what Forest's secret is. I mean they were in the championship just two seasons ago, and only just avoided relegation last season - and with just 32 points it was the lowest points total ever for a club surviving in the PL. Now look at them.

It is possible to do more than just survive after promotion to the PL ! We are similar to Forest really - sleeping giants which are still remembered mainly for past glories from our respective golden eras under Clough and Revie. Except that the Forest giant is finally waking up - so why can't we do the same ?

Having second Pace Maker in 10 days delivered tomorrow, my ticker as not
quite recovered from the Sunderland game.. Please Lads put the 3 goals past the Brummies before half time on Saturday. The coming season will be my
80th watching and even through the Billy B. era or before I have never seen anything to compare with the last two. Can't Wait for Sat.

This should be fun between Connor & Blunts fan Jimbob, live at 8pm

Their recent videos have been a hoot!

Good banter.

I think FFP is helping level the field a bit. Forest along with Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton, Aston Villa all reaping the benefits.

Forest did have a formula that almost didn't work before it did. They signed 20 something players and still almost went down. Twice. But it's reaping rewards now. Same for the others I just mentioned. All were struggling to keep their heads above water for at least a couple of seasons before they managed to consolidate and move forward.

We often hear about how we didn't build well on our 9th place finish. We didn't. We needed a pipeline of about 10 new players to integrate into the squad. The 2nd season we only signed James and Firpo, while hoping that Summerville, Gelhardt, Greenwood, Drameh, Cresswell, Bate would be the answer. None of them became premier league players in the 3 seasons we were there. Forest were signing experienced internationals and premier league players to steady the ship.

They got the luck, but it's not as easy now to add those sorts of player as it was then

Not as easy because they clearly broke FFP rules, I know. FFP is stricter now than it was back then.

Not as easy as players are seeing clubs coming up as relegation fodder. They know signing for a promotion side is likely to see them in a no win situation. Especially with no guarantees

In that regard, I think players see the ambition of the club.

Hopefully the 49ers can paint a convincing picture of how the club plans to progress and move forward

You could say that of anyone. But Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton have shown no ambition to be a top premier league club. Their plan was to basically hope they finish 17th

For us we should be painting a different vision to prospective signings. We're already a bigger club than the 3 mentioned. 49ers have stated their goal as getting the club towards the champions league. We will be planning beyond 17th spot for next season. And I think Leeds United is an exciting destination for the majority of players.

Derided here and used to crucify Orta/Rads et al but I think it had to be done, could you imagine the s**t we'd be in had we not considering we'd be paying prem wages ...

i'd offer the same clauses again if we go up ..

Ours will be too, Leicester were champions not long ago, constantly top 10 or higher. They're the blueprint for us going up. Sunderland have been slightly better supported than us this season so have th efan base but again can they attract players if they go up
