That’s a relief, no way is our bench strong enough to fight on two fronts. To do that we need our current best starters to be on the bench.Carrick Dave wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2026 9:08 am Apparently not.

Re: West Ham vs Leeds United Match Thread
Missed at the time but it's Gnonto's excellent work that sets up the pen, lovely turn and through ball...
Willy had an excellent game once seen on repeat, I under estimated it. Set up the pen, very close with a clever back heel/flick, fashioning something from not much and was good defensively too. Some tidy/clever work elsewhere
I'll be adjusting my player rating

I'd take Bowen in a heartbeat.GreennWhite wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2026 9:52 am I doubt many fans did, thats why they put him up first, to give them a good start, but on this occasion it back fired for them. Thats football for you, nothing is ever guaranteed, even if some fans believe otherwise
He is a quality player and wont be with them next season if they go down.

Yeah Danny Dyer is fair game.White Riot wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2026 12:20 pm A bit of banter with DD is ok, but insulting his wife is out of order.
Drink in wits out.
He didn't seem to mind.
Some have said the "you slag" comment is directed at Danny as its sort of a catchphrase for the type of character he plays?
Hopefully

Not sure tbh.
His daughter will have been there I'd guess.
Danny was holding a little boy at one point in the stands, his grandson presumably?
If it is his daughter and her kids are in the car then it's worse.

Which should have taken 30 seconds at the most.
VAR looked at it ten times.
Polson looked at the incident long & hard, wondering to himself, should I give Leeds benefit of doubt.

That's why I had him my top 6 for MOTM. Most went with Okafor but I thought Gnonto was betterThe Subhuman wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2026 12:14 pm Missed at the time but it's Gnonto's excellent work that sets up the pen, lovely turn and through ball...

Didn't Gnonto miss an open goal?
What about Okafor's assist pass for Tanaka lovely goal?
Okafor's pace caused so many problems for the West Ham defence.
With Okafor, Tanaka & Stach on the pitch, we were controlling the game.
Although Gnonto was lively, was he better than Okafor, not in my opinion.
It would seem nobody else thought so, I respect your opinion though Chilli.

You're not alone in that. I thought Okafor did very well.1964white wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2026 12:58 pm Didn't Gnonto miss an open goal?

Losing Stach hurt us a great deal. Not sure why Farke thought Aaronson was the appropriate replacement.

Me too. I was working in Saudi Arabia and was so convinced we'd get to the final that I went and spoke to the hospital heirarchy to sort me a Visa home for the date of the final....they did but the Final didnt happen and I was so annoyed that I ripped down all my Leeds posters, photos etc in my apartment. Thing is, after I went back to Riyadh after a four week annual leave I was trying to find out who had been in my apartment and ripped down all my Leeds posters etc. I'd actually forgotten that I'd done it. I must have really seen the red mist!!!

I had a Planet of the Apes poster on my bedroom wall, I'd got it free with the first edition of a Marvel comic, so she ripped that in half, so I went downstairs and threw her school bag on the coal fire
